This tastes exactly like Carmex smells, which isn’t an entirely bad thing, as I love the smell of Carmex. I’m really enjoying this, and I tend to dislike peppermint teas, so I’m quite happy to have found one to enjoy (even though I can never purchase it again). Considering that it’s a few years old, I’m also impressed that the flavor does not seem to have faded at all.

Probably not a tea I’d have picked up due to the peppermint, but when it’s part of a subscription, you get everything! It’s kind of strange… it tastes like a fairly reasonable minty black, but then when you swallow, there’s this poof of smoky acridity. Before then, the smoke is difficult (at least for me) to perceive in the flavour.

Honestly, this tea makes me think much more of (SPOILER) whichever dragon it was that was killed and raised from the dead by the white walkers – minty/icy cold, with smoke. As opposed to ‘Dracarys’, which inevitably makes me think of spice/heat and smoke.

May try this as a sweetened latte.

Thick, thick smoke and candy canes. This is one of those teas that probably just shouldn’t work for anyone in concept; I mean it’s a bit like licking a candy cane dipped in liquid smoke and that sounds awful. However, when it does work for someone (like myself) my feeling it that it probably works REALLY well.

A divisive tea.

I’ve tried Lapsang and lemongrass before, but not Lapsang and peppermint. Hmmm…
