With this tea gone, my cupboard is now from 2017 or later. That’s a good feeling at least.
I get a lot of sweet cranberry flavor a la cranberry pear. It’s juicy and delicious and definitely the main flavor here, matched only by the carbonation flavor of the sparkling water. Basil is more fleeting. In fact, I can’t really find it and that could be because of age or because the cranberry is so strong.

I’m right there with you, CrowKettle. My oldest tea is from back in 2015. I don’t mind it though – I like having all the options.
If I knew how old are teas in my “huge bags” section I wasn’t taking tea from several months…
@martin lol just need a system! I was terrible a couple years ago…now i’m back on track with cupboard size and year. I don’t mind straight teas being older, i just generally drink through them too fast

This was a really sad sipdown; I just love the overall brightness of the cranberry in this tea! It’s very sweet with just enough crispness and tartness for it to not feel unnatural for a cranberry infusion. The basil really isn’t as strong as I think it could be; you wouldn’t notice it if it wasn’t pointed out to you. However, as a smooth, juicy and refreshing cranberry infusion it’s very hard to beat this one.
It’s just all around pleasant with such a clean, crisp finish. The black tea is such a nice quality; with soft floral undertones to it and a jammy quality that’s subtle but still present. Just… damn!
