I didn’t have any tea over the weekend, so I missed National Apricot Day on Saturday. Making up for it with this older tea today. I’m guessing because it’s older, the flavor has diminished some. It’s vaguely fruity. The description says full-bodied but it’s actually very light. It reminds me of green tea. I still have quite a few pearls left so next time I may try four pearls instead of two. Bummer I couldn’t get any apricot for Apricot Day.

Sipdown except this wasn’t in my cupboard so no drop in numbers…boo!

This is an older blend though so yay for finishing it off! Alas, this doesn’t have much flavor to it. I could maybe call it nutty and perhaps cakey but that’s if I stretch my mind. I can also say there maybe is stone fruit to the black tea here but again, it’s because I am searching for it and trying to make it out. Realistically, without the name, I don’t think I would ever place what this is meant to be and that’s likely because I let it get so old.

It’s a fine black tea but it’s not really much of anything.
