From A Quarter to Tea

Tea of the Month for October 2016

This bumbleberry pie (a fancy term for a mixed berry pie) is exploding with flavor! Strawberry, blueberry, raspberry, and the autumnal cranberry come together with a luscious pastry that is sure to make your season!

This tea is limited run, so once it is gone, it’s gone for the season. It is sold only in 0.5oz quantities.

Sipdown (235)!

Finished this one off hot at work while doing some sampling! I think I enjoyed this one better as a hot tea; it was smoother and I think that very perfumed/artificial quality was significantly smaller. Mostly, it tasted like light, delicate berries (raspberry, cranberry) with floral undertones, a smidgen of grassyness and just a faint bit of cinnamon. I don’t really know why it came across so much lighter bodied as a hot tea than an iced tea, but the more muted graham/cinnamon/perfumey/aritificial tones just worked better.

Not bad; a fruity berry oolong. Pretty flavourful. Much better than a green tea base, but not sure I’m entirely sold on it. But if I was looking for a sweet, fruity dessert tea, it would definitely fit the bill.
