Our Tea of the week this week is a blend of sweet, caffeine-free African honeybush, rich, dark cacao nibs (organic ones, even) and fresh cut peppermint with natural flavors. Our honeybush blends are always popular. I expect this one is not going to be an exception, so don’t drag your feet, as always, this is a limited edition blend.

This is a lot like the White Chocolate Grasshopper Honeybush, but I think I like this one better since dark chocolate > every other chocolate.

It is everything as advertised, just like the ice cream flavor, sweet, minty, chocolatey, but nice and warm so you don’t have to be cold. Probably a good way to cure ice cream cravings if you’re like me and hate eating it in the winter. Oh who am I kidding, I always eat it anyway.

I finally got a teapot warmer and I love it so much. Now I can make the whole pot and not be sad that it’s cold after 45 minutes. Yay for World Market!

Hmmm. The honeybush has a bit of a sickly sweet honey smell in this blend, both the dry leaves & the brewed tea. It tastes fine, but this seems more like a honey-mint combo. Not really getting a chocolate taste. I may have to play around with blending this with another chocolate base.

Yum! Basically tastes like a hot liquid version of mint chocolate chip ice cream.
