737 Tasting Notes
Ooooo-eeeee, as a former coffee-drinker, I can say with utmost certainty that this is the closest thing to it that the tea world has to offer. High-test stuff. The flavor is a very strong and robust nutty-astringent combo that hits you like a brick wall. Personally, I like my teas straight-up, but adding a splash of milk and/ or some honey definitely doesn’t hurt this one.
I treat this tea like I would my boss. With respect.
Ughhhhh freezing rain! Horrible.
I still maintain that this is the best wake-up tea in my collection. It’s so rich and warming. I’m getting chocolatey notes this morning, too, which complement the bergamot wonderfully.
Here’s to hoping this steaming mug of healthy glory helps chase away the cold!
My first foray into the world of pu-erh! This is lovely. It has an earthy quality and smell to it, but at the same time is very sweet and very fragrant. No milk or sugar needed! The rooibos is there, but takes a bit of a backseat to the cloves and cinnamon. Very nice! This tea is ideal for helping me lose my post-holiday weight. Also- it’s certified organic! A+ for Lifestyle Awareness teas.
Mmmm! I was expecting the coconut to be totally overpowered by the chai spices, but man was I wrong! The coconut is light and sweet and perfectly balanced with the cinnamon, ginger, and cloves. Delicious!
I think I’ve put a few holiday pounds on, so from now on I’m going to drink cups of tea whenever I feel the urge to snack.
This box was given to me as a gift a few weeks ago. It’s sweet and simple. Bigelow’s herbals are usually pretty failsafe, if unexciting. This one was good enough for tonight. I’ve been stressed to the max lately, so I’m going to reach for my stress-relieving blends first as I try to get my weight back to where it was before break.
This tea is simply beautiful. Sweet, light, fruity, and perfectly balanced. I can taste the plum flavoring very clearly, and I also detect notes of passion fruit as well.
Good for the taste buds, good for the soul. A+, Yogi. Easily the best blend I’ve ever tried from them.
This tea tastes like… Olives.
Ewwwwww. I hate olives to begin with- why is my fruity tea tasting like them? I blame the rooibos. And the hibiscus.
Once the olive taste wears off, I’m left with a slightly cranberry-like aftertaste. No pomegranate to speak of. It’s like a shadow of what this tea might have tasted like if it were blended better.
Ughhh. This is exactly why I despise both rooibos and fruity herbals.
