Just a really, really nice black tea. Nicely blended, flavor is good, and it doesn’t have a string, which cuts down on waste. I don’t think I’d ever buy it for myself (I was given a small packet of these teabags by a friend)- but it does make a nice, albeit small and subtle- change from plain old Lipton orange pekoe.

This tea actually tastes pretty good to me. I normally don’t like licorice at all, but I didn’t find it overpowering at all. It definitely helps me sleep when I’m sick (I have a hard time feeling comfortable with a sort throat when I’m trying to sleep). The chamomile and the mint are the strongest flavors for me, and I love both. It also leaves a pleasant soothing feeling in my throat, although it doesn’t last as long as I’d like it to. I guess if you are looking for relief from a sore throat, Robitussin is still the way to go. Just drink this after and you’ll be feeling better in no time :)

This tea is lovely! The lemongrass suits the flavor of green tea perfectly. It also tastes very floral, more so than I expected.

Plus, it’s decaf, so it makes a lovely bedtime tea. Simply beautiful!

This tea is AWESOME! So smooth, and soooo perfectly blended. This is probably the best lemon-flavored tea I’ve ever tried. Can’t recommend this tea enough!

I have 2 boxes of this tea, because they were really on sale at the store. This is a nice tea because I don’t feel like it has quite as much caffeine as other black teas I’ve tried, so I can drink it without worrying about being up all night or getting jitters later. It has the characteristically smooth feel of most Twinings teas, and it is a lovely orangey-brown color.

At the end of the day, though, it tastes a lot like cup of glorified Lipton Yellow Label. I’ve had more success with other Twinings blends.

This is very nice black tea. It’s more cost-effective than Lipton even, and I think the quality is higher. It’s a very smooth blend, easy to make, easy to drink. Plus, it comes with an adorable little porcelain figurine! Win-win situation, right?

You know I haven’t had red rose since I was a child at my grandparents. I might have to have a cup for nostalgias sake sometime.

This is my go-to breakfast blend when I’m on the run. It’s pretty easygoing in terms of how you make it- you can (gasp) heat it in the microwave and it will still taste okay, or you can boil water in a kettle and make it.

It’s just plain black tea, so if you go into it knowing that, you have no real reason to be disappointed when you get just plain black tea. It’s affordable- you can buy a lot of it very cheaply. And what you see is what you get.

I think honestly… I prefer Lipton’s plain black tea to this one. This one is okay, and I’ve had success with other teas from Lipton- I really like the Harvest Strawberry & Passionfruit Rooibos and the Blueberry Pomegranate White/ Green blends in the Pyramid bags, for instance. And I LOVE their bagged Green Tea Superfruit blend with Blueberry and Acai Berry. But the berry flavor in this brew kind of turns my stomach a bit. Just plain black tea is usually kind of bitter, even when it’s steeped properly, and mixed with the tartness of the berries, this just ends up being a little too acidic-tasting to me…

I think I’ll stick to Lipton’s regular-old Yellow Label breakfast blend, if I’m going to drink their black tea.

I really, really, REALLY like the True Blueberry and Country Peach Passion flavors in this box. The blueberry is awesome- it’s like having a cup of blueberry juice. Usually these Zingers have too much hibiscus, but I didn’t find it to be obnoxious in this particular brew. Same for the peach- it’s a lovely, light, sweet tea.

The Raspberry is okay- nothing really special. I’m sure there are better raspberry leaf brews out there, but this one is very cost-effective, and tastes passable.

The Wild Berry and Cherry Berry I found to be extremely tart and not all that pleasant. But hey, 3/5 ain’t bad, right?

A perfectly balanced ginger tea! The lemon makes it. Very smooth flavor, goes down nice and easy. A good anytime tea, and I like it because it’s low-maintenance to make. I still prefer the Bigelow version of lemon-ginger tea with the probiotics, but this one is a good alternative.
