I like this one… I actually really like dandelion teas in general. The cocoa shells make this one special. And the lack of weird herbs that I’ve never heard of.

It’s light, toasty, relaxing, and healthy. I get burnt bread, cardamom, cinnamon, cocoa, and dandelion when I sip it.

This tea is meh. Watery cinnamon with a vague cocoa taste. Not terrible for a bagged tea, but not exactly setting the world on fire. At least it woke me up. It lends itself well to travel-mugs, so it makes a suitable companion on the drive to work, at least.

H & S whole-leaf silk sachets have spoiled me!

drank Sweet Cinnamon Spice by Tazo

Why do I even keep bothering with Tazo? I guess in this case, it was free at work, so I grabbed a teabag.

It reminds me of Yogi teas. That same mushy, herbaceous, vaguely medicinal experience, you know? I even taste dirt! Yuck. I blame the star anise and licorice. What a tragic waste of perfectly good cinnamon.

Work has been totally miserable today. I hate having to work Sundays in general, but today has been its own hellish kind of crazy. At least it’s nearly over!

I was a bit wary of this one— double bergamot? Wouldn’t that increase the likelihood that the tea will taste like floral soap?

But no! It’s creamy, smooth, and delightful! This bagged EG is better than any loose EG I’ve had. Honestly. I can taste notes of vanilla, fresh cream, flowers, citrus, and a hint of spice. This is simply amazing.

I found my new go-to EG for sure.

Picked this up because I realized that I have almost no caffeinated bagged delights to drink at work! How did that happen?

I wasn’t expecting it to be this good. But it is abundant in everything about chai that I love (cinnamon and cloves!), and lacks everything about chai that I hate (looking at YOU, nutmeg!). It’s smooth, full of delicious cinnamon, and the orange peel adds a nice bite of citrus. Num num num.

Only complaint is that the cuppa didn’t last long enough! Time for another.

Flavors: Cinnamon, Cloves, Orange Zest

If you like that flavour profile, have you tried Just Organic Tea’s Just Outstanding Orange Spice blend? It might be perfect for you.

I haven’t! But I will now. Thank you for the recommendation :)

drank Almond by Adagio Teas

Sipdown. Cold-steeped for two days. I’m sorry I didn’t think to try this sooner. It toned down the dominating base and allowed the nutty, natural almondy goodness to come out.

I won’t restock because it’s still not a favorite.

My very favorite H & S blend that I’ve tried thus far. Tastes like coconut and gingery, lemony lightness. The leaves are so big that they threaten to burst out of the sachet. It’s the very embodiment of springtime!

Dug this one out of the deep recesses of my tea cabinet (yes, I actually have dedicated an entire kitchen cupboard to my absurd tea collection). Brought it to work because I want to get rid of it.

It’s unique, and it sticks with you, certainly. But it’s not a great summer tea. The smokiness lingers in my mouth for a long time. Much better for winter.
