106 Tasting Notes
As I first started to drink this tea I didn’t think there was anything too special with it. However, now that it’s cooled a bit I’m really enjoying it. It’s hard to exactly say what I am tasting, but it’s quite fruity and has a very nice but not too overpowering cinnamon taste. This one might have to go on my wishlist…. but not until christmas is rolling around I think!
Flavors: Cinnamon, Fruity
Preparation
By the smell of this tea, I really thought it would be a lot better than it actually is. I was dumb and added sugar before tasting, so I may have taken out the tartness by doing that… tartness is what I like and I found this one to be lacking. I found it smelled better than it tasted… to me I was getting a weird flavor… almost chemically. I may have also steeped too long. Next time I’ll try it straight and steep it for the recommended time.
I will update the score next time, as I scored it quite low today!
Preparation
I really quite enjoyed this one… of course chocolate and mint! It’s a different chocolate taste vs. hot chocolate… it must be the cocoa beans or the husks that’s giving it a deeper, stronger, cocoa flavor. I really enjoyed it, the mint is even nice to breath in. Definitely perfect for a cold winters day!
Flavors: Chocolate, Cocoa, Peppermint, White Chocolate
Preparation
Good job David, another wonderful chocolate tea! Peppermint and chocolate combined are one of my favorite combinations ever! I knew I would like this one when I saw it online, so I had to order it. It’s been a great treat for this crazy cold weather we’ve been having. I love the peppermint, and im surprised but I can actually taste the peppercorns at well, which is giving it a little kick of heat. It kind of reminds me of santa’s secret, but with chocolate… making it even better!
