I just received this as a gift for christmas, it’s definitely one of my favourites this winter season. I’m a sucker for peppermint and black teas, and this has got a strong flavour of both. The white chocolate really adds to the flavour in a good way. Definitely a staple this winter.

Upon opening the package, wow what a strong caramel flavour! When steeped it does lose a lot of it’s smell but still could get a hint of that amazing caramel! I steeped mine extra long while I was getting ready, so about 15 minutes… so as an end result my tea was very flavourful! I enjoyed mine with a little bit of milk and sugar. For a decaffeinated tea, I would definitely buy this one again. Loved the flavours of the almonds and apple that really came through too.

Flavors: Almond, Apple, Butter, Caramel

I keep buying ginger teas hoping that I’ll like them, but it never works out that way… until now! For how beneficial ginger is for the body, this is the best ginger tea I’ve tasted. I was feeling a little rundown today, and this is exactly what I needed. I loved the peppercorns in it, the spice and pepper is what made it for me. I just added a hint of sugar just to cut the slight bitterness.

Flavors: Ginger, Peppercorn, Spices

drank Mulled Wine by DAVIDsTEA

Day 19 of Davids Tea advent calendar… I’ve received a pouch of this last year, but didn’t try it until it was my day of the advent calendar. The mulled wine kind of threw me off, I don’t like wine, so I didn’t think I would like this one. But I am really enjoying it today. Its got a very strong and inviting orange, cinnamon and clove flavors blending together. I added a hint of sugar and a little bit of milk which made the tea a lot smoother.

Flavors: Cinnamon, Clove, Orange

Preparation
205 °F / 96 °C 8 min or more 2 tsp 16 OZ / 473 ML

Pretty good, not one of my favorite pu’erh teas tho. I was expecting a Terry’s chocolate orange… but didn’t really get the taste of the orange. I love chocolate so it was good in that way.

Flavors: Chocolate

drank Sweet Almond Green by DAVIDsTEA

I didn’t think I would like this one, as I find most green teas to be quite bitter. I really enjoyed this one tho. For a green tea with medium caffeine (some days I like a higher caffeine content) I would try this one again. I really enjoyed it with a bit of milk.

Flavors: Almond, Nutty

Preparation
205 °F / 96 °C 8 min or more 2 tsp 16 OZ / 473 ML

Was just introduced to loose leaf tea within the last year. Never thought i’d ever get used to life without coffee! I’ve really been enjoying all the new flavours and different types of teas.. so much to learn and taste!
I usually drink my teas with a little milk and sugar… unless it is a herbal infusion or the ingredients don’t mix well with milk.
Some of my favourites so far are savoury black teas, and I’m always a sucker for anything involving mints or fruits.

90-100: Cupboard staple – will buy when I run out

75-90: I’ll drink what I have, may restock when out

55-75: I’ll drink it, but probably won’t buy it

0-55: Might finish it, might feed it to the sink
