59 Tasting Notes
When I smelled this before I brewed it, the ginger was so strong it made me sneeze. So I brewed it for just three minutes. I think next time I’ll put it in for longer; it’s good but it could be stronger. The lemon is almost an aftertaste, which I like.
Preparation
This smells like honey with a tiny whiff of flower. I don’t really like the overwhelming flower scents that some teas have, so I really like this. The taste is pretty mild, but I really enjoy it. I could have drank it straight, but I added a tiny bit of sugar and it tastes like honey and light flower.
Preparation
This was my first Gen Mai Cha, and it took me a little bit to get acquainted with the taste. It kind of tastes like unbuttered popcorn, which it turns out I like somewhat. I put in a little sugar, which I thought might be weird, but I definitely liked the addition.
