Recommended by a colleague that will only drink this, I ordered from Amazon. Enjoy at work because it is better to handle tea bags over loose tea. Really enjoying the smooth and malty cup with a splash of milk. Not astringent to my taste buds. Understand that the amount of tea may change in the tea bags (based on some of the postings on the internet) but find that two bags per 16 oz cup is just about right every time for a strong cup.

Drinking Murchie’s tea, shopping at the Hudson’s Bay for “back to school” and tuning into CBC radio or TV was just part of what it meant to be Canadian growing up on Vancouver Island in the 1980’s. For the last 10 years, this is one of my favourite brews when I want a strong cup to add milk and sugar to for a single brew. It makes for a robust, malty and hearty cup of tea without being astringent. There is a smokiness but not overwhelming. Just a good tea that I usually purchase by the pound to keep on hand at all times. Very good value!

Bought it as part of the Summer Sale from the DT website (1/2 price + additional 20% off). Enjoying the different characteristics from each infusion. Not sure I catch the “buttery” but feel"honey suckle" represents the finish for each sip. I use about 6 tea rolls for each 16 oz cup and steeping 4 minutes per cup in a Perfect Tea Maker (so that the leaves are not soaking between brews). So far, three steeps of an easy & drinkable green tea without the need to add anything..
