I am LOVING THIS!! I’m generally fairly wary of citrus in teas – it generally does not work for me. But this? This is glorious! Mellow and sweet but very well grounded in the rooibos base, the balance between the orange and vanilla is wonderful. I don’t normally drink my rooiboses with anything, especially the flavored and sweeter kinds, but this just begs for a splash of milk. Anyone else thinking of orange creamsicles? I know I’ll be going back for more, and quite soon too!

I recently received this as a gift from a good friend of mine. Holy fabulousness in a mug! I’ve been really partial to peppermint teas of late and this one does not disappoint at all!
The candy canes add a nice creaminess to the overall tea, and I find that it didn’t get bitter after sitting in the tea pot for a little while. The peppermint is not overwhelming at all, and the teas are extremely well blended. I noticed the black tea a lot more after it had been steeping a long time, but this did not detract at all from my original opinion of the tea. I’ll definitely be stocking up on this one before its taken out of rotation after the holidays!

I was expecting this one to be a little bit more chocolatey… but I’m still enjoying it. I love that there’s a slight spiciness to this one, and when I steeped it at home I broke up half a cinnamon stick into the basket and let it steep with the tea. Fantastic.
I take this one clear with agave. But I’m thinking about trying it as a latte at some point as well.

I was super happy when I found out that DT was bringing out four new permanent Oolongs, I had to run out and try a few. I’m really big on banana lately and this tea is marvelous. I got a 26g bag just to check it out and I will definitely be going back for more. The banana is not as present in the steeped tea as I would like, but I’m still working out steep times and number of re-steeps. I love this one straight or a bit of agave, I find that the agave brings out the banana a little bit more.

I had this as a sample TOTD and I liked it. Which it surprising because pu’erh teas and I are not friendly. The dry leaves really do smell exactly like one of the Terry’s Chocolate Oranges! This smell/flavour is still present in the steeped tea, but mellowed by the pu’erh and made a little bit earthier, but not quite as much as some other ones I’ve tried.

I’m thinking a possible future purchase…. but I definitely want to try this one as a cup of tea in the store to make sure.

So I had put a hold on trying this one with all the negative reviews, but I finally sucked it up and gave it a steep yesterday. It does smell pretty strongly of dried figs in the bag, and another not quite as pleasant scent layer that I can’t quite put my finger on.

It steeped up pretty well considering I forgot about it for a while; wasn’t too dark or acidic. The fig flavor was super strong though, and a little too sweet even without any added sweetner. I didn’t get any of the ‘garbage-ness’ that others have mentioned, but I wasn’t a huge fan of the taste of the tea as soon as it started to cool down.

Not a huge fan of this one, Really glad I only got hte 26g bag with the Winter Collection box, I’ve only got about another cup and a half left in the bag so I’ll hopefully be able to run through it pretty quick. While I don’t hate it, I don’t think it will make a repeat appearance on my tea shelf.

I love this tea. I’m not a very regular green tea drinker, but I do make this one fairly often. It’s wonderfully earthy and vegetal with a buttery finish. I’ve managed to get my steeping time and temps just right a few times and it is absolutely fantastic!

I tried this one as a cup of tea in the store – and it is pretty darn fantastic!
the cinnamon was what sealed the deal – I love the fruity notes and it is really well blended. But the cinnamon wrapped everything up beautifully. I had it with only a little agave. Definitely a tea that I will be getting again!

Not a fan.
I had this as a cup of tea in the store. I’m not sure if it was the prep, or the levels of sweetener/lack thereof.. but the jasmine was overpowering and the rose did not help. It quickly turned bitter on me and I could not finish the mug.

I’m hesitant to write this one off alltogether, but at the same time I’m not that inclined for a repeat performance.
