I love teas from India and this did not disappoint. It is a good basic black tea that holds up well to milk and sugar. It had different sizes of cut leaf in it, happy that it wasn’t just tea dust. Good everyday tea that I would repurchase if I didn’t love trying new teas all the time
I expected to really like this one because I love the Irish breakfast tea. But eh. It says it has notes of onion, roasted I think. Didn’t get that and not sure I would want to. Its ground pretty fine, like the tea in a bag. Maybe a bit chunkier. It says For the Irish of today. Ummm. Ok. Anyway I like that it gives back, but I wasn’t very impressed with it. It was just very meh. I love that it is made with African tea though, I do still want to try more African teas.
Lime tea is not one you come across everyday but I was excited for this because I love lime. This summer I made the very best lime and raspberry popsicles. I still make them. I also made a lime cheesecake. So I was excited for this tea. It does a great job of capturing the essence of lime. I really do think of fresh lime drinking this yet it still has a tea element. Very nice cold. And also pleasant hot. I like it.
The first couple of cups I drank hot, not good. From then on, I drank the rest of the bags cold. Much more pleasant as a cold tea. I have no idea what a heart cherry is but it does have a cherry flavor and something else a little odd. Not my favorite cold tea, but not bad either. There are better berry teas out there
Definitely a unique tea, I was really excited to try it. Its a broken leaf green tea… to be honest it looks kinda like black tea. Gently spiced with a unique flavor… I guess its the saffron- not sure how that tastes, the cinnamon, cardamom and orange. I enjoyed it but I don’t think its a re-order for me. Now I’m done with my sampler set. Once I drink through at least one or two of my newest Harney orders, I will probably pick up a Davids tea sampler
Mooore CTC bop and although I don’t like most of them, this one is a winner. Only spices are cinnamon and cardamom but they taste perfect in this blend. I guess they overpower the ctc taste ad I don’t have any issues with it in this blend. Add milk and some of the vanilla syrup that I have been into making the past couple of weeks and you get a yummy chai,
Flavors: Cardamom, Cinnamon
