24 Tasting Notes
Got this today iced free with a coupon at Teavana. I’m lucky..my office building is attached to a mall that has a Teavana in it so I get to go use coupons for free tea often!
I love this iced and didn’t even need any sweetener! I usually put stevia in almost all my brews but not this one! Yummy!!
Ironically, this is my go-to tea for when I just want something “plain” without a ton of fruity flavors and all. This is a very calming tea that is buttery and a bit earthy. I haven’t tried it on a 2nd steep yet and am a little upset for not thinking of that since it is so expensive. I don’t think I realized the cost of this tea because it came in a gift set that I got 75% off. Now I will be a bit more reserved with the usage of it!
Preparation
I successfully devoured the whole canister so thought I’d come back to report that this is one of my favorite iced teas yet. It reminds me of kool-aid from my childhood days. I’m sure kool-aid is cheaper but it’s filled with artificial ingredients that I chose to not put in my body anymore so this tea is a great replacement for a refreshing cold beverage. I plan to buy more of this next time I’m at Central Market!
I totally dig this flavored green tea. One of my favorite fruits is apricot, so I snatched this one up when I saw it. I used 2 teaspoons per cup, which is more than I usually use with any other teas, even herbal. It turned out perfect.
Preparation
I am in love with this black tea. Steeped for strong & added stevia. Maybe it’s because I love blood orange juice so much and there is just the right amount of it in this tea. I bought this as a loose leaf tea in the bulk section at Central Market (HEB) and I couldn’t be more pleased. I’ve been drinking Mates in the morning but will be switching back to the tried and true blacks I think! Can’t wait to try it iced!
