Phil Krampetz and Kyle Stewart are two of the most knowledgeable tea and coffee experts that I have ever met!! Kyle took almost an hour to simply talk about the different types of tea they carry. If you are in the area I implore you to check them out. I return every time I am in the area.

Great tea shop. Kyle and Phil are very warm, friendly, and have a wide knowledge of tea and coffee! Their tea tastings are fun and open for those new to tea as well as those that are on the way to being a tea sommelier. I always have an amazing time going here!

I really liked their original store. I learned about teas there and started a global shopping challenge of finding good tea shops on my travels. I’ve found few better.

The Cultured Cup is now a coffee and tea tasting room by appointment. They have expanded their tea and coffee offerings as well as carrying a line of chocolates & drinking chocolate made exclusively for them by Dallas chocolatier Steve Smith of Nib Chocolates. Get on their mailing list to make sure you receive notices about tastings and special events. As one who was mentored by Kyle Stewart to join the ranks of Certified Tea Specialists, I can honestly say that you will not find better quality tea and solid tea knowledge that is freely than at the Cultured Cup. From neophyte to connoirseur, every customer is treated is given personal service that makes it a pleasure coming here. When they have Saturday tastings you are always sure to meet someone interesting as well as taste something new.

I completely agree with the other review. What a great place – interesting and varied selection and highly knowledgeable and personable people. If there were more places like this, America would be a solidly tea drinking country within 5 years.
