On our trip to Budapest this was the shop I was looking forward to the most and it is my absolute favorite one! We spend more than four hours there and even this time wasn’t enough. Tamás who is working their is someone you immediately connect with if your passion with tea is as strong as his. This place was so small but so cozy and massively filled with such great teaware and especially Pu-erh. This was the place I bought most of my stuff on my visit to Budapest. Their range of Pu is breathtaking. Even for such a small space and even after 4 hours you still haven’t discovered everything they have. This is my absolute highest recommendation I could give! Amazing place!

THE place for puerh in Budapest. (Maybe in all of Hungary!) Levél has a huge collection of puerh teas and a huge sortiment of teawares too. Wonderful cakes to try, buy, or drink on the spot. They have a little room for drinking tea, the whole place is quite quiet, so it would be ideal for dates or small meetings.
If you are looking to buy tea, be prepared with your specific preferences as the owner, Liu, does not speak English or Hungarian, so you won’t be able to have elaborate conversations about your preferred tasting notes. :)
