Food was overcooked, tea was overbrewed, and portions were miniscule (1/3 of a strawberry, 1 thin slice of apple/orange each and 2 grapes is not a fruit salad!) Decor is nice but won’t be going back.

I adore The Secret Tea Room! I’ve been there a few times for lunch with my Mom and we’ve both enjoyed it. Today I convinced my fiancee to try it as well and he was so pleased with everything. We shared 2 pots of the Downton Abbey tea, I had a green tea infused shrimp salad and he had a sandwich. We also split a scone and the Irish Cottage Pie for dessert – everything was excellent! We purchased some of the Downton Abbey tea to make at home, as well as two other loose leaf teas to try. The service was wonderful as usual. I love the location of the tea room and its quaint decor. This is one of our favorites for a nice, out-of-the-blue lunch and we will certainly be returning in the near future!

The teas are great, high tea presentation and items are top notch, and the regular fare is very good.
