Tried with a longer brew time, but still feel it’s not as robust as I prefer. Enjoyable nonetheless.

This tea has a very clear natural honey sweet smell mixed with a little cocoa and a hint of maltiness.

Very smooth, little to no astringency/bitterness. A light sweet taste with cocoa at the back of the palette.

On my resteep I tried adding milk and sugar for the first time and to my surprise it brought out a different dimension in the tea. A tea that’s enjoyable no matter how you have it.

Assam is always my favourite morning tea, however this I feel lacks the punch of a good Assam. All the usual malty sweet flavours were there however less bold than I prefer.

Will try with a longer brew time next.

A richer bolder Darjeeling than a second flush. It smells malty with a hint of chocolate and follows through with those flavours in taste while still retaining the feel of a Darjeeling. No bitterness at all.

An enjoyable darjeeling. A subtle flowery scent with a tiny hint of maltiness. The taste was light, floral, and slightly sweet. No bitterness at all.

A very light tea, no bitterness or astringency, however overall felt rather bland in smell and taste (as in it was quite hard to pick out anything of note from the tea). Perhaps indicative of the water filled leaves of monsoon season.

Out of the Darjeelings I tasted today this was the strongest smelling, a pleasant and very floral/fruity smell. Likewise in taste there was a very floral tone, not the most subtle Darjeeling.

There is however a bitterness and stronger astringency to this tea that I did not get from other Darjeelings. Perhaps could do with some experimenting on brew temperatures/time.
