Waking up in my house surrounded by Snowy Landscapes.
While listening to this song : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lrBZeWjGjl8

The music and this tea goes along perfectly.
A perfect balance between the light ambiant/flowery tones of the Sri-Lanka leaves
and the energic/spicy beat of the Assam leaves.

In fact, this blend goes just along with my morning.
I love so much Sri-Lanka tea that I couldn’t make a bad review of it…

Seriously worth the money.
It’s a pleasant decent cheap tea.

Don’t expect a very unique flavor here.

Have a good day my friends!

The smell of the dry leaves is simply melodic for the nose.
Once infused, the smell is still recomforting and cinnamon goes through it.

The taste is profoundly good, but at the surface there’s the…

DAMN YOU HIBISCUS!

Yep, because once you infuse it a little you seem it’s red-pink color
splash away your tea pot…
The hibiscus is WAY too much strong on here because it blend all the taste
in one mild cinnamon/apple mixture.

This tea is not disgusting, he’s actually good.
But all the amazing flavors it could deliver just never goes through it.
It’s like a delivery man which never deliver your order.
You just hanging up there enjoying the febrility of the moment and then…
There’s not any end. So sad.

Overall
Too much hibiscus on there, but it’s an enjoyable apple/cinnamon blend.

Snow Bunny. What a pleasant name!

I was expecting a Banana Nut Bread Taste, and it was what it taste like!
The flavor are like 2/3 banana 1/3 nut, which I do like.
But… I was expecting some black tea taste through it.

Unfortunately the black tea doesn’t have a big place in mouth.
However, you can’t say that this tea taste horrible.
It taste really good :)

What I really love about Davidstea organic tea is… The PURE TASTE.
And this tea is really what I talk about when I name “Quality”.

It has a bold floral spectrum along with the straight pleasant white tea taste.
You can infuse it 20 minutes long and it NEVER became bitter.

The fresh feeling of the young spring leaves is really refreshing.
And the smell? It’s like the taste.
It smell like fresh tea leaves without smelling like fish or sea water.

A perfect tea, nothing else. :)

impressive.

What is impressive?

Maxime-Daniel Friðrikson

*What do you mean by “impressive”?

Mélissa

A 100pts rating, which is rare (and non-bitterness). The tea then sounds impressive.

Maxime-Daniel Friðrikson

Hahahaha! Now I understand what you mean!
That’s the first tea i’ve rated which got the perfect score.

Sri Lanka Silver Needles (an old discontinued tea from DT) got the closest score with a 97. I think i’m a straight White Tea Lover haha. :)

Mélissa

I’m a white tea supremacist aswell. Nice to meet you, fellow Quebecois.

Maxime-Daniel Friðrikson

Nice to meet you too! :)

This tea is really “light” and it has a certain degree of fluidity in mouth.
This one really has really a honey-like feel into it.
There is also some woodsy notes.

But the taste is quite simple.
Nothing extraordinary in this one.
It’s just an expensive everage black tea.

Thumbs up : Sweet honey feel.
Thumbs down : The price, you’re better buying their Orange Pekoe.

Here’s another note about this one that i’ve been drinking frequently.

I’ve once said that this tea is an “average green tea”. That’s true, but it’s also a great quality for the price. I felt really satisfied about this fresh taste which is the best for a morning wake up tea!

Seriously, try it!

Mom’s Apple Pie + Pumpkin Chai = Decadent perfection.

Both fruity and spicy nothing else can beat it.
It’s a first story of love between the mixture and me.

The first aroma is really cinnamon and baked apple.
The first sip is fruity from the apple mixed with the spices of the Chai.
What a treat!

I just was watching “The tree of life” with that blend and feel like life was unreal. I was feeling good at this exactly moment in a way I can’t describe. The only thing that could make this moment better would be the presence of my girlfriend haha!

Do you have others blend to propose me?

Kay Kanada

Copabanana and exotica are a really nice herbal duo!

Maxime-Daniel Friðrikson

Thanks for the blend idea! :) The only problem is that… I don’t have any of theses :P

Erin

Oooh, I’m going to try both of those blends!!

Dazaii

Davidstea is well known for his flavor tea, but he also do some awesome straight tea.
Like this one.

This one is organic and it’s a GOOD thing because you taste really more the pure tea taste through the smoky blend. It do remember me summer nights in front of a big fire warming up with friends and just kidding, drinking beer and… Yeah fun!

It’s a pleasant tea, especially during winter. :)

You know what? I’ve tried it. And, I was not impressed. REALLY not.

I’m sure the taste of carrot were so weak because i’ve tried it as a tea to go from DT Saint-Bruno. Seriously, this taste like a simple Oolong tea with a little carrot aftertaste. It won’t taste amazing or anything like a flavor tea would do. It’s just, sad.

Try it and say me i’m wrong.
I want to be wrong, haha!

Dude, if you think you’d like it stronger, then buy 50g and brew it at home. I’m rarely happy with a to-go tea from David’s because I always steep mine a little heavy. I tried Pumpkin Chai last year and was like, “Oh. Well, okay. I guess this is a little good.” But really I was kind of disappointed in it.
I took home 100g today (optimistic much?) and am IN LOVE. I’m going to run out of this before snow falls and it’s going to break my heart.
