Way too much cloves for me: if I’m getting a cup from a barista, I’d rather drink the Starbucks chai.

The Starbucks-store mix varies by the barista (how many squirts is standard folks?) but overall this is a decent thing to get at a Starbucks if you need a little calories and not too much caffiene. Get nonfat for a fewer calories, the spice mix flavor stands up well even with less fat. Good hot or cold — let the ice melt some in the summer to combat the dehydration from drinking the sugary mix.

I tend to over-steep, and this gets bitter on me… otherwise decent overall “black” flavor.

This isn’t tea so much as it is dessert. One of our favorite cold-weather treats. Follow the instructions on the can, and have a good strainer system ready.

It’s a solid oolong, but I’m just… not a fan. Something about the flavor is “murky”.

This has been a favorite for a while. Comes conveniently in teabags, and each bag gets 1 good steep, but will continue to add flavor to the water for 3 more steeps without ever getting tannic. Great for days when you don’t want the caffeine of new leaves but don’t want water-flavored water :)
