1473 Tasting Notes
We’ve spent the last few days kinda straying from our diets and eating all the sodium in the world! I am in dire need of some detox, it’s bad when food can make you feel so hungover. Detox always makes me feel better, though, and it’s tasty to boot! So very tasty. I’m only about halfway through my mug of tea and already my headache is clearing and I’m nearly ready to face the day!
Ugh. Every time I wander away from DavidsTea, I regret it. We were downtown today with the Bears of Toronto. Over the summer, they had an all-weekend event that we helped out with, and we discovered this little shop downtown. It’s your typical coffeeshop, but with a wall of teas as well. At this point, I hadn’t discovered looseleaf teas, and I was blown away by the pumpkin festival latte I had to wake me up one morning. But the wall of tea tins is ridiculously tall with hard-to-read labels, and the raspberry black latte I had today was just plain awful. I couldn’t even finish it. Next time I will definitely remember to make my tea in a travel mug before leaving the house, lest I be stranded again without tasty tea.
This one is delicious. It’s kinda like forever nuts without the beetroot, but…different? I don’t know. It tastes nothing like it smells, which isn’t a bad thing. It smells delicious and it tastes delicious, just in different ways. I’m curled around a big mug of it right now and I look forward to many more in the future! I can’t wait to cook with it.
