drank Darjeeling by two leaves and a bud
1719 tasting notes

I am not sure I could have identified this as a Darjeeling. It tasted like malted milk balls to me. No one else seemed to experience this. Maybe my taste buds are off today. Hope they stay off :) The more typical muscat flavors came late in the sip and stayed in the lingering aftertaste. No bitterness. A nice smooth cup.

Don’t think I’ve seen the Darjeeling locally; our little Fox Farm carries the Assam and maybe a couple or three other varieties…a little pricey.

Yeah, Two Leaves, Numi, and RoT are about even in price locally. Two Leaves is definitely the best of the three IMO. A good cheapster is Ahmad’s Darjeeling.
