I loved this tea! I’m not normally a huge fan of green teas because they can be super finicky with water temps, but this came in my Sipsby subscription in march of last year and I finally got around to trying it. It was grassy in the best way, like the air after a spring rain when the shoots are just poking up out of the ground. Fresh, bright, and almost fruity, with a hint of depth and dryness at the back of the tongue. Really enjoyed this beverage.
Also, my dad tried it with me and he loved it (with lots of sugar, because that’s how he drinks every tea) and said it was refreshing.

A Christmas gift from my friend Caleb! I have several boxes of the Twinings Chai in the pantry, but I had never tried the decaf version before. I’m not a huge fan of decaf in general as it tastes flat and empty… like someone added notebook paper to the cup. This one, however, isn’t that bad! The spices overpowered that decaf taste and made a nice cup of tea. I would probably not buy it myself, but I would drink it again if it came my way.
I don’t think it would work well with milk as it was rather weak.

I am going to preface this by saying I don’t like chocolate in teas. However, this has so little chocolate taste, I actually like it. Very peppermint heavy with a lot of that roasted coffee taste which comes from cacao nibs. Vanilla was present in a good way. Overall, this teas was a good tea. Did it taste like peppermint patties? Not really.

Delightful smooth oolong, not as much cinnamon flavor in the beverage as I expected from the scent of the dry leaf. This is highly drinkable and would be a great oolong for newbies. This would be something I would be comfortable sharing with friends who are maybe new to tea or usually only drink one of two blends. Didn’t need sugar or anything added to it. Great just on its own.
This tea was sent to me in a free care package from Davids Tea.
Flavors: Cinnamon, Sweet, Tea

This is one of those teas that was recommended to me by a friend 2 years ago. I fell in love with this tea. It is so delicious and fruity, with that nice green tea undertone. There’s a hint of floral but not enough to make it a floral tea. The main drawback to this tea is it it must be brewed at a low temperature or it will be super bitter. So bitter that you can’t fix it even with sugar. I recommend using water at 175 degrees Fahrenheit it’s about 10 degrees less than recommended on the package oh, but it’s better safe than sorry! I highly recommend this iced it works just as well as hot.
Flavors: Flowers, Honey, Mango, Passion Fruit, Sweet, Warm Grass

This was one of the matchas leftover from the 24 Days of Matcha Advent Calendar 2021 and I have to say I loved it way more than I anticipated. It has a ton of sugar in it, so I recommend making a latte. It was just the right amount of spice to green flavor, neither overpowered the other. It is very sweet though! I used vanilla almond milk (frothed) and made an iced latte.
Flavors: Anise, Cardamom, Grass, Green, Sugarcane, Sweet, Warm Grass

This is one of those teas that’s been in the back of my pantry forever. Finished off the last of the teabags (I hope!) This is a nice flavored black tea either hot or iced (I chose iced today). It’s not potent, but just a good basic tea. I think I have a newer version of this tea in my stash as well as a tin of loose leaf somewhere else hiding. It just multiplies when I’m not looking.
Flavors: Black Currant, Tea
Preparation
It’s a good tea for the afternoon. Not heavy on the ginger (which is good for me, because ginger and I don’t always get along) and slightly pear-fruit flavored. This is delicate, nothing to whack you in the face. Delightful in an afternoon rainstorm.
Flavors: Ginger, Honey, Pear

Smelled amazing but was just an ok beverage. I was expecting something like liquid red hots (H&S Hot Cinnamon Spice is like that, and what I prefer) but it was mostly black tea with cinnamon aftertaste. These was also a great amount of cinnamon dust in the bottom of the cup that somehow made it through my filter… I accidentally drank it, and let me tell you, it was super bitter and disgusting. lol, don’t do that! Overall, Adagio has much better cinnamon teas than this (there’s an excellent cinnamon rooibos or honeybush I believe).
Flavors: Cinnamon, Cloves, Tea
Preparation
One of my favorite teas to drink iced in the summer. Super refreshing. Light on the ginger and heavy on the peach and tea flavor. It’s decaf, so it’s a little flat tasting compared to non decaf black tea, but it’s perfect for this blend.
Flavors: Peach, Stonefruit, Tea
