I really like this tea!

I tend to compare my black teas to something like my Twinings Irish Breakfast, or an English breakfast tea. This isn’t anything like those teas. It is very smooth and mild. I love those websites that tell you the tea has notes of this or that…I must have an unsophisticated palate because I don’t taste any of that. I can tell you that it tastes sweet (and yes, I do sweeten my teas because I like them that way, and I might as well drink them how I like them, eh?). I don’t know what the flavor is that was added (there are organic flavors in here, but I couldn’t tell you which ones).

It has Champagne flavors. Did you get a fun fortune?

Something about McDonalds and sweet tea. I don’t care for sweet tea (growing up, we always had the iced tea powder with lemon flavor). I’ve never had champagne, but that must be the flavor…sort of a sweet added on top of the tea. The second steeping, it is not as prominent (which is typical), and now I realize I am getting more of the base, which is still really good and mild.

I’m glad you are enjoying it. And the fortunes were just meant to be silly.

Sorry to see RiverTea go…this tea is a favorite of mine. Nice and light, but with good flavors of orange and almond. I have enough for one more cup left, and then it’s gone. It is one I would have re-stocked.

I still don’t know why it is called Toronto Nights, but it’s a good tea, nonetheless.

I think I would have loved this without the jasmine. I get a lot of the ginger/pear, and then at the end of the sip, just this taste of FLOWER. Like I just drank a flower shop.

To be fair, I’ve never had anything with jasmine before, but I can tell you I’ll be steering clear of it from now on.

It tastes like fall with the pumpkin and the apple. Not anything earth-shattering, but not really bod, which is fine when I don’t want a bold tea, but something else besides a white tea base.

I think it tastes better hot, but I can taste most everything still. I don’t know what comes out stronger…probably the apple. I swear, everything that has apple just screams APPLE to me…it’s always a very dominant flavor.

I haven’t had this one in a while. It is a solid all-around tea, and both the buttermilk and the lemon come through well. I’m just in a bad mood this morning, but it isn’t the tea’s fault!

Much chai flavor. Not exactly what I was looking for today, but there it is.

This is the second tea from the 2-tea Butiki order that I placed. I just HAD to try them before they closed.

After a few sips, I fully expect to find butter on my lips. Wow…this is such a COMFORTING tea! The butter flavor is paired with a cream flavor, like this is real butter on the farm (not that I know ANYTHING about real butter from a farm, since all mine comes in sticks from a grocery store), but this is what I imagine real small-batch butter to taste like. I also taste the sugar cookie…not like a baked one…more like sugar cookie dough. There is also the hay taste of the white tea itself.

I would definitely buy this one again, and like everyone else on Steepster, I’m sad to see Butiki go.

I have a couple of green/black tea blends, and they have a similar flavor underneath the main flavor, but I don’t know what it is…a cherry sort of flavor?

Nice tea to wake up with…can taste the orange and almond. Very warming, and I can imagine watching the sunrise on the water with this tea in hand (hey, I USED to live near water…just now in the desert!)

The last of the Lemon Ginger Cookie Oolong. I think I under-leafed…I didn’t have a full teaspoon, I think…I just dumped what I had in the corner of the bag into the tea bag. I’m getting a lot of ginger…like a hot ginger drink. It’s still good, and I’m VERY sad to see this one go.

I’m also sad because my Kati broke, and I got hot water all over my hand. Now, I’m glad that the water in the hot water machine is not at boiling, but it does hurt. And the Kati is beyond repair. I tripped over my own feet, I think, on the way back to my desk. I don’t know what happened. I do have a couple of coffee mugs at my desk (I like how they look; I rarely use them), so used one of those. Just not the same. :(

Nice solid tea to start the day.

I don’t really know what else to say about it. :)
