39 Tasting Notes
I have been experimenting with different kinds of chai to figure out which one I like better for my chai tea lattes. This is pretty dang good although I haven’t quite gotten the tea to milk ratio (I used coconut milk). It reminds me of the holidays and winter. I love this tea. (: Once I have gotten the right ratio, I will update my rating.
Preparation
Mmmmm. I loooovveeee minty teas. I normally get herbal but this one is perfect! Now I can drink mint tea EVERYDAY. It is not one of those teas that leave a taste in your mouth, it’s really interesting. You have the taste while it’s in your mouth but then nothing.
[[ I do two steeps with all my teas. ]]
Flavors: Green, Mint
Preparation
Ohmygosh, how have I not had this tea before? My amazing sister Kyra (she has a steepster too, idk how to link people here) gave me a little tea sampler and this was part of it. Holycrap this is the best tea ever! It’s sweet and delightfully delicious. It almost has a hint of mint but I can’t tell. it’s so good. I can’t even get over it. I’m making myself another cup.
Woah, I don’t understand how this doesn’t have a higher score.
Okay, truth is, peppermint tea is my go-to tea always. Especially for stomach problems. When I have a stomachache or it hurts, I always drink peppermint tea and it instantly feels better. Peppermint has medicinal properties just for this.
This is so embarrassing but I took this tin from my mom (it had about 7-8 bags left in it). I finished this in about 2 weeks. Each bag got at least 4-5 brews, basically until it had no taste. I like this stuff a lot. I’ll be trying more peppermint teas but I currently love this one. Also, that tin! So adorable!
I made instant iced tea with this by steeping it like normal tea that putting a million ice cubes in it. I don’t even know why I did this because I hate iced tea. Anyway, it tastes just like iced tea. I don’t really taste any pomegranate. The Disney Wonderland Teas aren’t really making a good impression. They just taste like cheap tea. Not a fan.
I got a sample bag of this from my Conscious box subscription. I was super excited because my sister loves this tea and I’ve never tried it before. I was feeling sick and my stomach hurt this morning so I decided to remedy it with some mint tea. Thank God I have this because I don’t have any mint tea! I love the taste of it. It isn’t super minty like the Tazo ones (aka it doesn’t taste like toothpaste). My stomach is feeling instantly better. (: I also love the tea bag packaging. It looks sewn and I think it’s super cute! (:
Preparation
I have a bunch of Lupicia samples (I don’t remember how, I think I stole them from my mom) and this was one of them. It’s alright. Not the best but it tastes fine. It has that fake strawberry taste but it doesn’t taste like medicine, which is nice. It’s good enough for me to drink but I wouldn’t pick it again.
MMMM. This is so comforting. I love the sweetness. It’s like a hug in a cup. I would put it at 100 but since it’s probably not organic and they probably use artificial flavorings, I put it lower. I couldn’t even find their ingredients on their website. It just links to other teas. meh. oh well. Finishing this tea and I’ll probably try to remake it using organic ingredients.
