I’m pretty sure Teavivre sent me this as a sample a while ago. Using my gaiwan to do a few steeps. This stays rich in a reddish brown color through every steep. The flavor is pretty strong for only steeping it for 10 seconds at a time. The flavors are earthy, a touch of leather, and a touch of sweetness with hints of mushroom.

I miss logging my teas everyday. And miss reading other people’s notes. I wish I just had a computer that worked so I wouldn’t have to log everything on my phone.. Ugh.

Anyways, I had this tea with breakfast and it was delicious as expected. Light, sweet melon flavors mixed with sweet white tea. Yum :-)

Got a nice box full of new teas to try! This one was in it and I really wanted to try it. Steeping it gong fu style. The aria of the wet leaves is amazing. It’s sweet and spicy with pine and herb notes. The first steep kind of tastes like lightly sugared warm water. The second steep has a nice piney spice with a touch of sweetness. There is almost a soft ginger taste to it. The third steep lost a little of the spice and is turning a bit sweeter. I think I may have under leafed. Next time I will try adding a little more :)

Enjoyed this gongfu style :3 I did 10 steeps. I love this tea. It’s sweet, floral, fruity, and smooth. One of my favorite oolongs :)

This was my second experience with sheng. The first time scared me out of trying it again for a minute. I started with a rinse and then did 5-10s infusions in my gongfu. The flavor is nice. It’s sweet and has a slight bitterness to it.

Using the gourd today! For some reason Im getting more of a tobacco flavor than usual.. I love drinking out if my gourd :3

Thank you to Tea Ave for the generous samples! I used the aroma cup they sent me to try this one! I love it :3 The flavor is nice! It’s sweet, floral, and it has a milky creaminess to it. It has a slight veggie broth taste to it, too. Overall I really liked this oolong!

Finished this one off tonight! I really enjoyed this tea. It has a nice flavor. The vanilla is creamy and compliments the green. The green tea is slightly vegetal and sweet. The vanilla is subtle but you can still tell that it’t there. I like that I can taste the green before the vanilla flavor.

Finished this one off today! I enjoyed it very much :) I like that 52Teas is doing smaller packages of teas. It’s enough to taste it and enjoy a cup or two more.

I finally decided to drink the last of this one. The dry leaf smells like dark chocolate. This tea is amazing. It’s malty, cocoa notes, milk chocolate notes, a touch of cinnamon, and honey. It’s creamy and silky. There is a sweetness that kind of reminds me of marshmallow.. This tea kind of reminds me of a smores! YUM.
