I was very impressed with this tea. This is a cousin of Yerba mate which I thought would taste bad also. This tea has a barky sweetness to it like saspirilla. Its my favorite herbal tea for taste. I find this tea has no crash, it has L-theanine unlike yerba and coffee. This is what helps prevent the crash and anxiety symptoms (also found in tea). This tea is defiantly a nootropic, it does boost my brain performance. For example I will remember a name much more quickly. The other thing it does, I won’t say it works every time, this tea really helps you see your dreams more clearly. I feel the only downside to this tea is that there really have been no studies done on the health benefits of this tea. I think the real reason it boosts brain performance greatly is that the problem with coffee is the lack of l-theanine, so when you drink too much you will get the jitters and anxiety, with this tea you can get away with drinking more caffeine, this allows for more long term energy in the mind/body. Overall the taste can not be compared to any other tea, its like drinking a sweet leaf.

drank Jeju Island Green by Teavana

This tea goes down very smooth and looks a pale yellow color just like sencha. It does not have any bitterness. Its similar taste like sencha but doesn’t have as strong of a vegetal flavor. Not a real strong flavor. This was an interesting tea because it comes from a very unique island and volcanic soil. I do enjoy this tea, if you like Sencha type teas you will like this. I will probably buy this again, its a good quality tea I just would not spend a lot for a tea like this. Its $11 at Teavana for 2 ounces which is okay but wouldn’t pay any more for a tea like this. Its a good everyday type of tea. If i had a choice between sencha and Jeju island I would definitely go with this tea. I use 4 ounces of water and resteep it three times.

If you love DragonWell teas you must try this. It has the characteristic chestnut type taste that comes from the pan frying of this tea, however, it has a slight sweetness to this tea like butter. I find this better than almost all Dragonwell’s sold in the states. Highly recommend this tea!

Flavors: Butter, Chestnut, Honey

Preparation
1 tsp 5 OZ / 147 ML

This is a very light tea. For all of you that like White Peony tea the taste is very similar. As for buying the tea I would say Mandala offers much better options. This tea is not bad its very high quality but for most people it will be too light. If your favorite teas that you like are white peony’s than I would recommend, otherwise there are better teas.

I was excited to try this tea because its from America! I am proud to be an American and try to buy American as much as I can. As for this tea I was dissapointed. I bought this in a 2 ounce tin and it was a loose green tea. This tea basically tastes like green tea in bags. It lacked much flavor, it was no different than brewing a bigalow green tea bag. I have added chai spice to this so I can get through the tin. I would say the black tea version of this would be much better. If your going to go with American Classic I would probably say buy the black tea version!

drank Milk Oolong by Mandala Tea

I am more of a white tea person and generally say Oolong teas are an okay tea. I bought an ounce of this and I have to say I really enjoyed this tea! I actually want to order more but they have sold out for now. If I were to recommend an Oolong tea this would be it. Very impressed, the only reason I do not rate it a 100 is because I have not tried milk oolongs from other companies so I do not know if this is superior, however I know this is rarely sold other places.

This tea is a good value and a good herbal tea for health benefits. I would say there is nothing outstanding with this tea its average for a green rooibos. This is not a review about Upton teas but I enjoy how fast they ship and have good experiences with Upton Teas.

Boiling 8 min or more 1 tsp 6 OZ / 177 ML

This is a very good white tea. I have to say for the price its a great deal. I can still reuse the leaves about three times and get a good flavor. Its said that silver needles are the finest white tea however for me they lack the flavor and I like this better. For a white tea this is a medium flavor, still light but its refreshing. I consider this an everyday tea especially for summer. I will keep buying this tea even though its not certified organic I don’t worry about sprays compared to cheap powdered ice teas in the supermarket. Its also hard to make this tea bitter even using boiling water.
