very good tea, well worth $5 an ounce. I definitely taste a chinese black tea with a hint of cocoa. It has a similar body to a chinese keemun but there is no smokeyness just a taste of cocoa. Not real sweet but definitely could drink this everyday. I have respect for this tea.

I have had over 10 versions of this from different companies. Verdant tea offers the best Big Red Robe I have ever had. The first two steeps are amazing. I can get about 4-6 infusions.

Has an every day type of tea taste. Its not bad but its not super special. Its just a nice everyday type of day. Balanced, not grassy but not sweet. I’m sure the spring offering would be a lot better, I prefer the laoshan black.

This is by far my favorite oolong tea. Its very floral and refreshing. Its like taking a sip from the fountain of youth and savoring every moment. This has to be one of top oolong tea from Mandala and best oolong I have had. The only reason why I do not give it a 99 is because I get about 7 flavorful cups from the gaiwan out of this, but well worth the money.

Very relaxing cup of tea. Can brew over 20 times in the gaiwan. Its not too light which was what I was afraid of but this never disappoints. Rather it has more health benefits or not, that is not what matters. Very pleased with this tea.

Decent Sencha tea, I enjoy the sweet veggie taste. I can get two steeps from this tea, after that I can add rice crispies to make a genmaicha tea.

I bought an ounce of this not expecting much because it was a cheaper tea ($4.50 an ounce) but I really enjoy this tea! I am a big fan of Keemun black tea and this is very similar. I believe the Chinese have the best black tea. This one does not disappoint, I trust this source being that it comes from Yunnan. All high quality Yunnan black tea have a honey/sweet potato taste, this one has this plus a very light smokiness.
