Not sure about this one. I get a strong “soapy” taste to it. I think there is just too much going on.

Picked this one up from Shadowfall

Yummy!! This one is for sure a great blend. Adagio’s Custom Blend are hit or miss for me. I think they can have a real “muddy” flavor where none of the flavors really stand out. But this one is not one of those blends. I might just have to get a whole 3 oz of this one. I’m not a fan of chai or spiced teas. I’m trying to expand my horizons in that regard which is why I was happy to see this one. I recommend this one to anybody who isn’t a huge fan of chai like me. It has green chai in it which makes my soul happy. Love my green tea. The spice is light and combined with the buttery flavor the green tea provides and the apple and cinnamon flavors, all I can say is delish! More Please!

Another 52Teas picked up from KallieBoo! Thanks!

Not sure about this one. It does taste just like a Cherry Coke. Not picking up the vanilla portion of it so much but definitely the Cherry Coke. Glad I was able to try this one. Not one I think I’d ever need to have again tho.

Good Monday morning all! Hope everybody is having a great start to their day! Not sure this was the best choice to start my day officially off with but oh well.

Smelling the dry leaves on this and then tasting them, you feel a little disappointed. The dry leaves have such a great smell to them. You can really smell the orange and it makes you think of a nice caramelized orange treat. Not the taste you get at all. Unfortunately I just got a more watered down orange flavor with just a very slight hint of creaminess (as it cools) more than anything else. I’m going to try again later because it could have been me, but I’m just not feeling this one. Hoping for an improvement next go around!

Backlog from Cooking TTB

Well hello Pepperminty Mocha Goodness!

After just writing a tasting review of a rooibos tea yesterday, I finally found a delightful treat that I actually like.

Thank you Cooking TTB Peeps (not sure who included this one)! This is delicious. I don’t taste the rooibos at all, just the mocha and the peppermint charging strong with a dash of cake like notes sprinkled here and there. Very happy with this one and may have to pick this one up for the boyfriend’s twins who love Peppermint Mocha Starbucks drinks.

Flavors: Cake, Mocha, Peppermint, Sweet

Happy Friday all! We have an upcoming Snow Apocalypse upon us. I’m kind of excited about being snowed in with just me, the boyfriend, Netflix, and of course my tea! Excited to have a sip-down kind of weekend and see what all I’ve currently got. So while I sit here at work dreaming of the fun that is to be had, I decided to grab this beauty to get my day off and going.

This is a delish treat that I adore. This green tea is sweet without needing anything extra to it. It has that almost melon flavor to it and the green tea just mingles so well that you can hardly tell it is a green tea. Plus, this one is great for your digestion and all the other health benefits that Kombucha provides. Recommend this one for an easy cup anytime!

Finishing up my quest with the Cooking TTB and yep, I’m still not a fan of red rooibos. I love green rooibos but the red rooibos just has that medicinal flavor that is hard to look beyond, even with the yummy chocolate cake notes that are coming thru. I know a lot of people love it and I’ll keep trying it, but this one just isn’t for me. Glad I was able to try it. On to the next one!

I totally agree with you. I like green rooibos and honeybush, but can’t stand red rooibos.

Highly Recommend for the green tea lovers out there. Holy cow! Can you saw pancakes in your cup? Wow. I’m so glad i picked this one up from Ost (Thank you!). This blend is really good. The green tea has a butter richness quality to it making the tea very creamy and the rest of the ingredients added in give it the maple syrup taste that makes it amazing! Not too sweet, just the right amount.

After spending the day in the ER yesterday, I was happy to come home and dive into this. First tea I’ve tried from this company. I think I’m in love!

Flavors: Creamy, Maple Syrup

Yah! Happy it went to a great home! :D
Also hope everything is okay since you were at the ER yesterday. D:

Bio

I’m back and hopefully for good! After a bit of a hiatus, I want to get back in the habit of logging my tea journey for various reasons.

I never know how to start these things. I’m a 40ish tea loving gal who enjoys tea parties, horror movies and polka dots/plaid. I have an amazing supportive husband who has allowed our house to be over run by tea in more ways than one. We have four kiddos between us along with our two furbabies that we love as much as they drive us nuts. Our family truly is our world.

Now on to the tea: I love all kinds. I’m not a huge fan of red rooibos- truly is my arch enemy but I love green rooibos. Beyond that, I’ll try everything once or twice to make sure I didn’t bumble up the steepings. Recently got into puerh and enjoying the adventure. If you are interested in something from me, just holler at me. I’m always up for trying new tea blends or sharing with others!

I’ve also started blending up my own teas at http://www.cuppageekteas.com/ I try to make fun unique blends to brighten someones day with.

I am also the admin behind SororiTea Sisters. If you are interested in reviewing teas for us, let me know!. We are always looking for guest reviewers or contributors: http://sororiteasisters.com/.
