So I finally decided on a subscription plan. I picked Handmade Tea (which I haven’t received yet) and Plum Deluxe.
I am definitely not regretting going with Plum Deluxe. This herbal was awesome. I’m sad to say its just about gone. I really enjoyed it. Sweet with a tang to it. You can tell there are apricots in it. You pick up hints of a peach flavor too.
I had hoped to keep some held back for the summer months, oh well!

Can you choose your tea type with Plum Deluxe?
No you can’t. That is the only part I don’t like. I’m pretty much just trusting that they will have good blends. The owners are pretty awesome and have been very responsive to me in emails etc. If you want, I can send you some of this when I send your other stuff to you. I have a bit left. Just let me know.
I don’t drink many herbals, but thanks! I did place an impromptu order with that Christine Dattner company last night (dolphin sprinkles – I was sold). I’ll send you some of those.

For a non chai fan like myself, this was great! It wasn’t overly spicy or overly ginger-y. It was very subtle and reminded me of a sweet potato with butter and cinnamon. I can see this as being an everyday kind of tea. Plus its a fandom tea so you gotta enjoy that!

If you love a creamy orange creamsicle like flavor, you will love this! It was so good! Even better iced. All the flavors blended so well together. A very solid flavored black tea where the black tea base doesn’t overwhelm the rest of the flavor.

This tea is good. Like fresh roasted coffee good. That is exactly what it tastes like. It has a really nice full bodied roasted quality about it. I can see this being an excellent morning substitute for a dark roasted coffee. I’m digging it.

Not sure what happened with this one, but it smells like cough syrup to me and tastes like it too. The tea itself is very pretty with whole cranberries and nice size chunks of pineapple I think. I so wanted to like this one, but I don’t think its for me. Sad too because I bought a couple packs of it because I figured I would love it. Maybe I screwed up the steeping but I can’t say I’ll be brave enough to try it again. Oh well!
