I find this to be quite strong with cocoa flavours and the bitterness that goes with it. The cinnamon is also quite strong adding to the overall power of the tea. The other flavour are there, but more as a backnote. If I sweeten it a little bit, I don’t mind it, but it wouldn’t be one of my favourites.

drank Cocomint Cream by DAVIDsTEA

This tea is exactly what it sells itself as, minty and creamy! If you’ve ever had those old candies Misty Mints by Allen, that’s what it reminds me of. It’s naturally sweet, minty, and twisted with creamy hints, I find it quite calming and delicious! A keeper :)

Let me start out by saying it is very, VERY hard to get a 100/100 rating out of me (in fact i’ve never given one!) But if any tea deserves it, it’s this one! Wow! This smells great, looks great, and tastes even better. This may be the best tea from David’s and probably the BEST tea i’ve ever had! David’s is constantly introducing new blends and each one seems to have improvement, I hope it keeps going that way :) HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

As most have said, this tea is tart. Simple as that. Aside from that it has a nice medley of flavours. I find most (but not all) teas from DAVIDsTEAS containing apple to be a little (or a lot in this case) tart and/or bitter. Just my opinion

drank Swampwater by DAVIDsTEA

Got this as a sample as I have heard of it and was again so I tried it. It’s got an interesting tangy, sweet taste and an interesting green tinge to it. It’s quite strange but with a name like swampwater what can you expect!? I quite like the taste it’s a nice blend with hints of various fruits and the green rooibos is very good. I quite enjoy this blend.

No matter what brand, loose or bagged (unlike every other tea in the world) this has the same taste no matter what. I’ve always enjoyed chamomile. It’s kinda one of those things you like or you don’t, there’s no in between. So I found it just like any other Chamomile… Nice, calming, smooth taste, great for when you want something mild and calm. And wow, do you ever get a lot. Usually when I get my 100g tins they (depending on the weight of the tea) get filled 1/2 to 2/3 full….For this, I got a full tin and a LARGE not the small DAVIDsTEA zipper bag of this still being 100g. So, it’s definately inexpensive and worth buying!

I’m a sucker for anything citrus, so of coure I had to buy a sample of this. It’s quite well blended with the tangerine definately present to a very good level. Not soft but not overwhelming. Overall, a nice tea with a mild profile :)

drank Mango Diablo by DAVIDsTEA
34 tasting notes

Wow, DAVIDsTEA usually has really awesome blends, especially new ones. But this, the opposite. It’s terrible! There is barely any mango taste which is completely taken over by the chilli, this tea is so HOT! I don’t know if I just happened to get some with a lot of chillies but it is way to hot and it overpowers the mango….TERRIBLE! Don’t try unless you like El Diablo in your cup!!

Hmm, what a unique taste! I have never tasted anything remotely similar to this. It has quite a nice taste, and the after taste is even better. It’s quite an interesting (for lack of better words) blend and it calm and mild and likely could blend in with whatever you’ve got going on. If you haven’t tried it, buy a sample it’s quite the neat little blend.

As described. This tea has a very funky taste, in a good way though. It kind of a tangy sort of fruity. I find it really quite interesting and like it. And in fact, it does (or seems to anyway) provide the energy it promises. It worked for me from about 7:00 AM to lunch time which is pretty good for one cup, if I would’ve had more there’s no doubt in my mind it would’ve been longer. And the way it works is pretty cool too! The energy doesn’t just smack you in the face…..it comes slowly, yet steadily for quite a few hours with absolutely no jitters and not even close to any crashing after, unlike other energy products. So just don’t drink it before bedtime and you’ve got a great tea that packs a punch.
