Chose this as my free tea for wearing green on St Patrick’s day. Really enjoyed it.
1st steep, lovely, sweet, nectarine-y and tasty.
2nd steep, exactly the same.

I’m sure this would taste lovely iced as well.

*Came in the dessert collection
Lightly coconutty, but over all just light tasting. Went well with breakfast.
Not outstanding, or oh my goodness I need this, but a nice drink, and will not stop me from buying another collection with it in it.
Exactly the same flavour on a 2nd (slightly longer) steep.

drank Lime Gelato by DAVIDsTEA

Broke this out when I wanted something light, sweet and not too strong, and it fit the bill perfectly!

Dry Looks: it’s fairly large pieces, hard to scoop into my small infuser (note to self, buy a better infuser)

Dry smells: lightly lime-y

Steeped taste: light, and lime-y, a little bit of added sweetener brings out the flavour

Steeped smell: light, lime-y

Steeped looks: very light, its a green tea, so not much colour

2nd and 3rd steeps: I just increased the steeping time (approx 8 min for 2nd steep, 10 for 3rd) and it was equally nice.

Overall impression: a nice light tea for when I want something warm but don’t need much flavour (like after over-indulging on spinach dip at supper). Not going to be one I bring to work or start out my day with, but I do enjoy having it at home as an option.

Preparation
200 °F / 93 °C 6 min, 0 sec

An early spring warmth had us craving something sweet, fruity, and possibly iced. After smelling a couple of Ceylon Tea Bush’s fruity options, my sister settled on an iced Mango Tropics with shot of peach syrup.

It was sweet, fruity, and it was iced, but its flavour left us both wanting a little more. It certainly wasn’t good enough to convince me to buy any for home use, but my husband enjoyed it, in fact preferring it to the Passion Berry he had ordered.

An early spring warmth had me craving something sweet, fruity, and possibly iced. After smelling a couple of Ceylon Tea Bush’s fruity options, I settled on an Iced Passion Berry, with a peach syrup shot.

It was sweet, it was strongly flavoured, it was fruity, it was pretty good. Not good enough to convince me to buy any of the leaves as I have other fruity teas at home that make wonderful iced teas, but it was pretty good.

Side note: my husband also ordered one, and ended up trading with my sister for her Mango Tropical Iced tea, as he found it a little too heavy a flavour for his liking.

drank Brazillionaire by DAVIDsTEA

Received this tea as a sample with an online order.

Dry: smells nutty, slightly sweet

1st steep: strong unidentifiable nutty flavour (granted I don’t regularly eat brazil nuts so maybe that’s what the flavour is and I’m unaware).

2nd steep: more of the same

This is the first David’s Tea tea that I’ve expected to enjoy and haven’t. As far as nutty teas go, I much prefer Vanilla nut Creme by Stash.

Received this as a sample when with an online purchase, and have been quite excited to try it!

Dry: smells a little sweet, not a very strong scent

1st steep: needed to steep longer than expected to bring out full colour/flavour, however, was a nice light, sweet caramel flavour.

Preparation
Boiling 4 min, 15 sec 1 tsp 12 OZ / 354 ML

Another tea I get to try as part of the Sweet Indulgence pack (thanks husband!!)

Dry: smells somewhat like strawberries, not a very strong smell when dry

Steeped: smells a little like strawberry, a little like yogurt

1st steep: Tastes like a campino! Not get getting much rhubarb, but I am getting the strawberry and the parfait part.

2nd steep: same great flavor, still no rhubarb taste but who cares!

3rd steep: needed some sweetener to bring out the flavor, which changed the flavor a little as well, making it a little more fake strawberry tasting, with hardly any of the creamy yogurt flavor.

Looking forawrd to: trying this iced in the summer!

drank Read My Lips by DAVIDsTEA

Part of the sweet indulgence sampler!

Dry: smells slightly chocolate-y and minty, and had cute little lips!

Steeped: smells very similar to mint chocolate rooibos, tastes like a slightly minty tootsie roll, not super chocolatey or minty, but just a nice hint of both flavors.

A favourite for when I need some ‘plain’ tea to start off my day.

Dry: smells like vanilla

Steeped: smells like vanilla, tastes like, you guessed it, vanilla! Not sweet, just vanilla and rooibos, and intended

2nd steep: steep a little longer and it tastes the same.
