This tea smells wonderful, vanilla and cinnamon, I could sit and smell it all day. It is very mild flavoured though, this is the second tea I’ve added chocolate milk to in order to add flavour, which works well here. It’s not bad, just mild. I’m going to finish the box, but am unlikely to buy it again.

I had a box of this during the holidays and it smelled very festive, cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves with a bit of rum. I liked it a great deal at the time because I was in the Christmas spirit. After the holidays however I noted just how lacking it is in actual tea flavour, it’s almost more of an herbal mix than a Chai. It’s not bad, just not very Chai-y. I recall that I slipped some chocolate milk in it a few times, which I would usually not do with any other tea, but with this, it works delightfully.

Passable only if I sweeten with xylitol, which gives it a cool finish, aka a lingering cold sensation in the mouth. Sweetening with anything else leaves much to be desired as the flavor is just vaguely minty, but not necessarily of peppermint.

Tart, bitter, sour, falsely orangey, gross. I tried adding sugar, but then it became sickeningly sweet. Undrinkable. There is no one I like so little that I would even give this away. It is destined for the compost pile I do believe.

Vaguely fruity and floral, but the flavours are unidentifiable and a bit sour. It smells nice and it’s good enough to use in the office until it runs out.

drank Earl Grey (Decaf) by Tetley

I thought Tetley’s regular Earl Grey was as bland and bitter as they came, but they outdid themselves here. I gave this away, the recipient then gave it away as well.

This tea smells amazing and tastes just as good. I bought this for the hibiscus, but I bought it again for the whole package. It’s the exact right balance of sweet, sour, fruity and floral.

Astringent, bitter and bland. I cannot taste the bergamot at all. Not undrinkable should I politely accept tea from someone as their guest, but not at all pleasant.

The workhorse of my tea world. This is without a doubt my favorite grocery store Earl Grey. The flavor is light with a hint of citrus and lacking the bitterness I associate with grocery store brands.
