drank Goodnight Blend by Twinings

This reminds me very much of an herbal tea served at relaxation acupuncture I attend. A very soothing blend of chamomile and mint with a mild citrus background. It’s uncommon that my husband should ever drink any herbal tea, but after trying a sip of this, he requested one of his own.

drank Mint to Be by Tetley

A step up from Tetley’s basic peppermint tea. A well rounded blend of minty flavours. I enjoyed it so much with just sugar that I imagine trying it with xylitol might blow my mind. (Xylitol, imo greatly enhances the refreshing cool mouth feeling you get while drinking mint teas)

Flavors: Mint, Peppermint, Spearmint

I used to drink this regularly, but I’m trying to cut back on sugar and this delightful tea wasn’t helping. I do miss it though, it’s quite good.

Maybe I should try it as an iced tea, but hot it was just bland and uninspired. It’s not terrible, but neither would I reach for it over the many other green teas in my cupboard.

If I ever have the strong desire to chew the bitter whites off orange peels, this will be the tea I reach for. The honey and Jasmine are strongly at odds with the orange flavour, it is a bitter, sour, yet sweet mess of flavours that just don’t mix well.

drank Raspberry Iced Tea by Arizona

Very pleasant, but a little too sweet for regular drinking. I generally prefer Arizona’s canned teas for the value though.

drank Pure Rooibos by Twinings

I had to struggle through this tea. This is the only Rooibos I have tried (and likely the only one I will), so I don’t know if it is the brand or if I just don’t like Rooibos. It was like drinking watered down cough syrup with some earthy notes. The real problem for me came afterward though, I think I am possibly allergic to this as I ended up with breathing difficulty and a flushed face. My rating reflects the flavour only, as for me personally it was a 1 and I think it’s best I never try Rooibos again.

drank Chai Spiced Apple by Twinings

I like this without milk and just a bit of sugar. Adding milk took away from the apple flavour, which isn’t very strong (cinnamon and cloves are the dominant flavors), but it held me over while Cider was out of season. Apple season is here though, so I’m putting this away and hitting the farmer’s market.

drank Lady Grey by Twinings

The flavour is pleasant, black tea and citrus, but it is too mild for my taste. I prefer Earl Grey
