Thanks for the review. If you still have some left, I would recommend letting the water cool a little below boiling (around 205) and then let it brew for only 1-2 minutes and let me know what you think. Hopefully it will taste a little more floral and sweet this way

The first smell I get when about to sip this tea reminds me of trail mix with dried, juicy fruit. The taste itself is more mild and clean. The taste opens with guava and then leads into the white peony. The aftertaste is a mix of strawberry and guava bouncing back and forth and finishing with strawberry.

I don’t know too much about this tea because it’s no longer listed on their website.

I wanted something after dinner to relax with but not to wake me up too much.

The tea smells sweet, opening up with jasmine and ending with a hint if rose and more sweetness. The taste is clean, grassy, sweet, and flowery. It is a bit watery, but the floral taste is not too strong to be off-putting.

Thank you for the sample Stephanie! We picked this up from DFT at the Coffee & Tea Festival in NYC.

The dried leaves remind me of my childhood, bringing me back to breakfasts filled with bowls of Fruit Loops cereal.

The scent of the brewed tea is more mild with citrus up front and mineral at the end. This tea is perfectly smooth and has absolutely no astringency to it. By far one of the best earl grey teas I’ve had.

The cup smells citrusy with a strong finish of mint. The first note on the sip is the stevia with the mint rising up mid-sip and finishing up with the stevia again. This tea is meant to be relaxing, but it’s actually a bit energizing due to the mint and sugar. I wish they would leave the stevia out of the blend so that I could sweeten it to my own tastes. Hot, it tastes a bit too sweet for me. I’ve brewed some up for an iced tea and see if that’s more up my alley.

I’m staying up, waiting for my younger brother and sister to return from a concert in the city. I’ll sip on this while I finish up the last episode of “Orange is the New Black.” ^ _ ^

This was in a recent Hapa-tite! Tea Swap from Melissa (Dryad Tea).

This was a delicious and beautiful tea. I steeped it probably about 6 times. It tasted light and sweet with vegetal and floral notes without getting too perfume-y. I really liked the Jasmine, as it was elegant yet not too heavy when brewed hot.

The dry leaves smell of rum and sugared nuts (think of those roasted nut stands in Asia).

The smell of the brewed tea is of roasted nuts and smokiness with a hit of sweetness at the end. The liquor is a light amber. The sip starts buttery and sweet and finishes with a woodsy smoke reminiscent of tobacco. The finish is brought back to an earthy sweetness.

I enjoy this tea and its complexity. It is great as an oolong because black tea would be too astringent. This oolong borders on being almost too astringent, but it pulls itself back from the edge with the sweetness and smokiness. From the leaf I thought it would be much sweeter, but it is actually quite well balanced. I could see this becoming more indulgent with sugar and cream, but I like it just the way it is.
