I was really excited about this one because of how it looks and smells. My first surprise was that this tea brews very red. My initial reaction to the taste was that this tea is exactly like Celestial Seasonings Raspberry Zinger tea. Surprisingly, there is no raspberry in this tea so maybe it is apple I am tasting? husband says it smells like red kool-aid. I would like to try this tea iced but think ultimately this one rates as nothing special, just ok. 9/5 – I tried as iced and it is better, but I agree with husband, much like kool-aid.

Really like this tea, though I think it would taste even better in the winter. Also I think this would be a great one to try if you are new to tea and transitioning from coffee.

I’m not crazy about this one. I like the fruit part of the smell and flavor but there is something earthy in there that I’m not loving. I find that I like this tea better iced than hot but it will not become a favorite for me.

I’ve had several cups of this tea (hot) and I am still not sure how I feel about it. The smell is so very different from the taste. The smell is a sweet floral earthy smell but the taste is very bitter. I need to experiment with this maybe try adding milk or making it cold or something. I am not sure. This is one tea that expands a great deal while steeping. It actually quite grosses me out to open the strainer afterwards. Update – Just figured out that if I cut way back and steep this only about a minute it is much better. The good flavors are still present but the bitter is much much reduced.

I have been drinking this tea both hot and cold. For me, this tea has a taste combination of citrus and mint with a bit of floral in there somewhere. I find the flavor to be stronger cold than hot but maybe that has to do with how long I need it to sit to cool it. Both ways, the “orange oil” smell is a bit overpowering. Thankfully, this does not come through as strongly in the flavor, just the smell. I like that this is caffeine free. I wish they would not use artificial flavors.

I’m new to loose tea. This week I bought Maracuja Mango from David’s Tea and I am primarily using this as iced tea. I like that I can taste the fruit flavors in this tea clearly but not overwhelmingly. I still get the black tea taste as well. I have tried a cup of this tea hot and it was good that way as well but I like it better as an iced tea. I am making this tea using the David’s Teas Bright Sky Crystal Travel Mug. I put 2 teaspoons of tea in the basket, fill with hot water, and stick the container in the fridge. I find that refrigerating overnight (11 hrs) gives the best result. I do a second batch during the day (secret compartment in mug lid holds another serving of loose tea!) which I only refrigerate for 4 hours and it isn’t nearly as good. I love the way this tea smells. 9/6 – I still am loving this tea. I did learn, however, that I should not leave the tea in the strainer basket for 11 hours as I am apparently significantly increasing the caffeine. oops. Have now started taking the basket out after 7-10 min and refrigerating from there. Also am drinking it hot now as well. This tea is awesome. I need to find one that I like as much that is decaf.
