Bitter, weird green grassy taste.
Mango is only in the smell.

Could not drink this, past two sips.
Maybe it’ll work better for people who actually like coffee (which I admittedly do not). It brews up like mild coffee, bitter, strong aftertaste. Even smells bitter even though the dry tea smells like heavenly chocolate coffee.
It might taste good as a latte but I shouldn’t have to drown my tea in milk and sugar for it to be drinkable.

Traded it right away.

Great when hot, or even warm, or cooled down.
Creamy, lime-y. Two steeps is delicious.

drank Sweet Almond Green by DAVIDsTEA

Will have to try more leaf next time. Pleasant.
At the recommended amount, first steep is strongly amaretto in smell, nice buttery mildly green taste and a hint of almond.
Second steep is purely a light green tea.

Big mistake: almond milk!
Made this with 2 cups volume total: 2:1 parts water:almond milk.
Boiled / 93F for 10 mins. Great colour, almond milk totally overpowers the tea.

Second steep with only water for 10 mins, good colour but mild taste. Next time: no milk steeping!

Preparation
200 °F / 93 °C 8 min or more 1 tsp 17 OZ / 500 ML

Alright, second time trying.
Second steep is now alright, but I am using a LOT of tea. 2.5 tsp for 350ml!
Fruity flavours are starting to come through. It’s not that cost-effective when you compare it to higher quality tea that can be resteeped multiple times though.

Needs a lot of leaf! After you brew it, I think it smells much stronger than it tastes. First brew was done at 2 minutes, second at 4. I haven’t tried a third, the second was still alright so it could be worth it.
Feels better warm than hot.

Quite weak, need to add more leaf, and even then the flavours (strawberry, lemon) are just hints. The leaf quality doesn’t seem that great either even though it’s full leaf.
Second steep was drinkable but not amazing. I wouldn’t bother with a third.
