I’m staying at a friend’s house ths week and I knew she’d be up for trying anything bacon-flavored so I brought this along. We brewed some up this morning to drink with our eggs.

This tea tastes like chemically-laced chocolate and ham. We couldn’t drink more than a few sips. I know it was a novelty tea, but the chemicalness of the chocolate was just gross. Yuck!

My friend will not drink “ham water” again. Lol!

That sucks. I wonder if a maple bacon has been done (I’m sure it has).

52teas also did a maple bacon one

looks like Della Terra just put up a chocolate bacon tea for the Autumn selection. I’ve never heard of chocolate covered bacon, but then I don’t like bacon, so I wouldn’t know about these things :p

I only like bacon on occasion. I got this tea just to see if someone could actually pull this off.

OMGsrsly

It might be worth it for me to toss some bacon bits into the maple tea i love so much, just to see if I could maybe get something drinkable…

Let me know if it’s any good! :-)

I run, I sing, I drink tea. That’s the best description I have of me.

I’ve always enjoyed tea, but have just started trying out a lot more loose teas and varied brands. I’m really excited about a site like steepster so I can read about what people think about different teas.

Oh and I really hate Lipton tea. There’s something just awful about it and I can’t understand why nearly every local diner only has Lipton.

Also I’m on the search for a full-bodied, fruity blackberry tea. So if you have any suggestions feel free to throw them my way! :-)
