I agree that it’s a lot like the vanilla chai without that strong vanilla flavor. I always want more spice in my spiced teas, but for people who don’t want that burning sensation that I love, this feels perfect. Obviously it’s not the most high-quality tea in the whole world, but I think it’s delicious and comforting for a good price—and that’s really what I’m looking for in a bedtime tea.

I’m always suspicious of a tea labeled “decaf green” but BLEH.

I haven’t had great luck with Trader Joe’s teas before, but this is delicious. I love the packaging too. So cute! I’m always hunting for calming herbal teas, and this is one of the most calming I’ve had yet.

It looks like nobody has left a tasting note for this in years? The tea itself is fine, nothing special but not bad, but after CHAroma shared this article (http://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-india-34173532), I’ve made a pact with myself to avoid Twinings and the other brands mentioned here until the quality of life for those working on the estates the leaves are picked from is improved.

I agree with takgoti that I would probably like this tea if I was sick. Mostly tastes of honey with a bitter taste. Overall, not a terrible tea, just not something I enjoyed, though it seems plenty of people in the reviews did.

Yup. Tastes like chamomile. I’m not really sure what people are complaining about. Don’t drink it if you don’t like chamomile, I guess. And don’t hate it for not being more complex…it’s pretty much just marketed as “chamomile” which is really all one wants sometimes if you like straight chamomile.

First of all, this is my first experience will LS so I really have no idea what a good LS is supposed to taste like. Someone else in the comments said that this tea would taste really good with smoked salmon and I agree. I can see myself really enjoying this in certain contexts, like during a blizzard or sometime I want to feel badass and manly while drinking my tea. However, on a lazy Sunday it was just good. Fine.

I brewed it for 5 minutes as the company suggests, and I found it to be much milder than I expected. Next time I am going to either brew it for longer or increase my ratio of tea leaves to water.
