Ok, help us out, what codes have you found to format items in your tea notes and the discussion boards here at steepster?

an * asterisk at the start and end of a word

write an ampersand then the word ‘hearts’ with no quotes then a semicolonthe whole thing NO spaces

Too bad < followed by 3 doesn’t work. It makes a t. Can’t figure that one out.

I like this special character cheatsheet because it includes the numeric entity codes also.

strikethrough

put a hypen (the short one) before and after the word you want to cross out, no spaces

this one is very easy to do accidentally, if you write with a lot of dashes! I used to use — a lot to represent a break in thought, instead of ellipses (…), but I try not to on here!
