Grandpa brewing black tea

I’m unsure of how much leaf to use when Grandpa brewing bleach tea. I’m thinking that 3 grams should be enough. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

3grams is a good amount to start. For some blacks that release a lot of flavour very fast, go for 2 grams. I recommend also to not fully fill the mug. In case it gets too strong, you still have room to add a bit of water to reduce intensity.

Here is an overview of some simple grandpa brewing principle that may help: https://www.teasenz.com/chinese-tea/grandpa-style-tea-brewing-meaning.html

I used three grams of Black Tea and about 14oz. of boiling water. This gave me three cups of delicious tea.
