Any teas as sweet as MarketSpice Cinnamon-Orange? (very sweet)

Hello everyone,

I’m new to tea. I recently switched from soy milk sugary lattes to Market Spice Cinnamon-orange black tea. It’s actually very sweet. It’s not a subtle feeling of sweetness. It’s hard to believe there isn’t any sugar, but these are the ingredients listed on the site: “Black tea, cinnamon(Artificial) and orange flavoring(Natural) and spices. Contains no sugar.”

I’m looking for a tea that is similarly sweet without sugar. I bought a few other Market Spice teas.

Spiced Pear is sweet, and has grown on me.(Ingredients: Hunan Black Tea, Cinnamon Chips, Cloves, Star Anise, Stevia herb, Pear and Cinnamon Flavoring.)

Edit: On a Steepster user recommendation I tried Harney & Sons Spiced Cinnamon tea and it is also very sweet- yay!

I was wondering if you lovely tea drinkers had any more recommendations- from any brand.

Thank you, and I wish you a wonderful day!

I believe you would LOVE Harney & Sons Hot Cinnamon Spice over at harney.com. It is all sorts of sweetness and I’m surprised every time that it is the cinnamon and not any type of sugar.

Thank you, I will absolutely check this one out! :)

I got this tea into my cup and it’s perfect! Thanks again!

AWESOME, I’m glad you like it. :D

So far, the teas that are sweet enough for me are:
1. Market Spice Cinnamon-orange black tea
2. Market Spice Spiced-Pear tea
3. Harney & Sons Hot Cinnamon Spice
If anyone has further recommendations to add to this list, I would love to hear them!

Full disclosure that I work for DAVIDsTEA, but it sounds like you might really enjoy The Spice is Right :)

Thanks for the recommendation and the disclosure!

Taking a look, would you recommend any other sugar free sweet teas from David’s? I also appreciate that Spice is Right is listed as fair trade and that David’s tea seems to ship in reusable tins rather than plastic. Does the shipping include carbon offsetting, too? <3

My personal favourite is Blueberry Jam – it does have stevia in it, but it’s a very small amount and I don’t think it’s really noticeable in the taste. I know stevia is a natural sweetener, but it’s also pretty polarizing…

If you like rooibos/honey flavours then I’d recommend looking at Bee The Change – it’s a pretty cool blend that uses all pollinator friendly flowers, and 10% of the proceeds of it go to The Honeybee Conservancy!

Some more popular/best selling ones would be Blood Orange Boost, Vanilla Bean Black, Cinnamon Rooibos Chai, Just Beet It, and of course Forever Nuts. We also just relaunched Shirley Temple, which is one of the few fruity herbal teas in stock right now that has no candied fruit in it! It’s pretty popular as an iced tea.

To be completely honest, it’s been a LONG time since I last ordered online but I believe everything comes in sealed 50g silver bags (they are made of recycled material) and if you order 100g+ of a tea you get a free silver tin as well. I’m not sure if the shipping includes carbon offsetting, sorry.

(Also, I think code “FREESHIPPING” is still valid right now in the US/CA for orders of any size)

Thank you! I’m going to try The Spice is Right and Cinnamon Rooibos Chai- that shipping code is still valid, too. :)
