Traveling tea box?
I can send it back to Arby in Canada if we keep the weight down? Are there ways to send boxes cheaper to CA from the US? I’m in Wyoming if that makes a difference.
It is not as expensive as people make it out to be. I’ve done several TTB before and shipping to the US is only $15-30 CAD (which is $11-23 USD). I assume prices from US to CAN are similar. We can easily keep weight down by not including any tins or large quantities.
True, you can always keep anything heavy so you don’t have to pay to ship it! :P but okay, I guess we’ve got several people now. What’s the official order this thing will go in?
I’m definitely interested as well if it’s not too late!
I’d be interested in joining as well! I’ve done several of these in the past and it’s always a fun way to try new teas.
I’m thinking it could go in this order
Arby (BC,Canada), ships to USA
Michelle (ships back to Arby)
We just lost the previous box full of tea in the previous TTB, I’m not sure if we should include users with under 100 reviews or aren’t active semi-regularly. I’m kind of heart broken over the last box, I was so excited to hear what made it back to the original sender.
Works for me. Follow me back, and I’ll message you my address. It was really sad that everyone at the end of the chain in the last one didn’t get to participate!
Looking forward to this! I’ve never done a TTB – are there any specific rules or is it basically take out what you want to keep and add what you want to share?
What if we add two teas specifically for the next person on the list, one you know they will like (based on their profile or cupboard), and one as a suggestion, something they might not usually try, outside their comfort zone. For example, I don’t normally go for a jasmine, floral or bergamot tea, but would be willing to try one someone recommends for me.
