Going to Berlin

Keeping my fingers crossed, but it looks like I’ve got a ticket to see my all time fave Peter Gabriel backed by full orchestra in Berlin. I’ve never been to Berlin (I currenly live just outside Philadelphia). Any tea shops or cafes I should keep an eye out for?

Cafe Kranzler is very famous on the Kurfürstendamm.
Second place I recommand is the “Teehaus” in Berlins " Englischer Garten" which is the ‘Central Park’ of Berlin.
Big tea brands in Germany are " Messmer", " Teekanne" and “Eilles”. If in Germany you should try a " Friesenmischung" which is a very rough, earthy black tea. Needs milk and sugar.

Brilliant! Thank you so much, Keemun. I’ve printed out your reply and am taking it with me.

You are more then welcome…enjoy Berlin.
Germans do speak fairly good English so you should not have much problems in terms of comunication.
I found you two tea shops with there address and phone number
Both go under the name " Der Teeladen":
Propststraße 3, Berlin – 030 2423255
Friedrichstraße 67, Berlin – 030 20945892
I am sure that you won’t be disappointed…have fun!!!

I’m leaving 22 March for the 24 March show. I’ll be spending most of the time on airplanes (US Airways & Luftansa). PG’s being backed by an orchestra. I know I can’t get decent tea on US Airways, but there’s always hope for Lufthansa. Thanks for the Xtra info, Keemun. It is deeply appreciated.
