Tea Strainers with Handle?

Hi all! I really love the idea of old fashioned tea strainers (like the ones you place over your mug before pouring a loose-leaf steeped tea though the strainer) or those amazing vintage tea baskets (where the little basket filter attaches to the spout of your teapot and catches all the tea leaves as they pour out) but I’m finding it hard to find new ones on the market! Does anyone still make them? Or is my only option to buy something used/vintage?

I bought the brass wire strainer from Bellocq and love it. Harney and Sons sometimes has them in silverplate and I have one of those as well. Ebay has fancy antique silver long handled tea strainers, but they are expensive. I have seen the kind that attaches to your teaoot soout there, as well. English Tea Store might have something.

Something like this might work if you don’t mind all metal. It should be big enough to fit over most mugs.

I have something similar, but I don’t remember where I got it.

I’ve used it for years with good success. i’ve devoted a tea cup to act as its cradle and drip-catcher
