I love apples. They’ve always been my favorite fruit. Unfortunately, my favorite fruit more often that not gets presented badly in tea. Usually the apple is barely there, or it’s a very bad artificial apple taste. I’m so glad I tried this tea because it has the crisp taste of apples spot-on. It is especially amplified since the tea has stevia in it, giving it a natural sweetness. The vanilla helps to balance the apple and make it an overall smooth taste.

I would say, however, that this tea may be too sweet for some palettes. If you’re not big on sweet teas, you probably won’t like this. Especially since stevia itself can be iffy for some people. I’d totally drink more of this as a dessert tea, as it has a sweet enough profile to drink it as such.

College student. Sophomore. 19 years old. Recent tea convert after trying loose leaf tea for the first time from Teavana a few years ago.

My campus sells tins of Republic of Tea tins on campus, along with selling cups of freshly brewed tea using Republic of Tea bags at their Jazzman’s locations. Because of this, most of my tasting notes will likely be that of different teas from Republic of Tea.
If you think I’m obsessed with tea, you should see my mom. What’s in my cupboard currently is all that is shared between me and my mom at home.
