Philadelphia Coffee & Tea Festival #14

This was the last tea I sampled. It was late, vendors were starting to pack up, and I was still exploring the back room. This vendor was tucked away in the corner and was busy talking to somebody else. I managed to sneak a sample of the coconut black tea and it was delicious. Coconuty, creamy – exactly as a coconut tea should be.

Mom picked this one up at the festival. Herbals are not usually my choice. This steeps up a lovely deep pink color. I don’t get tons of that sour hibiscus type of flavor, which is good. It is basically like a fruit juice. I think cold it might be quite good.

I bought this tea based on its smell, which is just incredible. The taste is not quite as good, but still one of the better chais I have in my cupboard.
