So this Is One of My favoret tea’s And it also has the power to put me and my husband to sleep… after having paradise found i had to poor that cup out amd make something i new i would love! this is just like having a Slice of chocolate cake but its a soft chocolate flavor just wonderful for a bedtime tea :)
Preparation
This is one of my All time fav teas Specially before bed! This One has such a Strong smell when you sniff it it almost Hurts your nose but its sooo good you want to smell it again :) So tonight i am going to take my Nightly shower make a Cup of this WONDERFUL Green tea and sleep Soundly
I brewed this iced yesterday while home sick with a migraine. Because it’s so tart and fruity, I think drinking this one iced or cold/cool is better. I’m no fan of hibiscus and this tisane has some. I did sample this in the store (they often have two or three hot teas and two or three cold teas for sampling – take that Teavana! – and this is always there). It’s refreshing, but I think it might be best blended with something else. It’s a work in progress for me. I’ll keep you posted. :)
Preparation
I may need to drop the rating – and my love! – for this one. It’s been over a month since I’ve had this tea, and I opted for iced tea. WHOA. Mistake. I don’t know what happened, if the tea got old or maybe it’s not good iced (which is odd since it’s heavenly hot). The color was off – it looked like #1, if you know what I mean. (sorry) It smelled odd, and the taste was way off. It didn’t actually taste old or stale or anything, just not as fruity and flavorful. Now it was the bottom of the tin, and it was double the dosage for iced, but even so. I expected much more from this one. I still have a little bit left, but I’m not ready to go there yet.
Before I change the rating I want to try it again. Maybe it was a fluke. Maybe my husband put a spell on my tea so I stop consuming so much of it – and therefore, of course, needing to buy more. ;) I don’t know what happened but it was not good.
Has this ever happened to anyone else – not with this particular tea or flavor but just in general?
Tea of my afternoon. I’m totally juiced up thanks to consuming lots of caffeine to get through the day. This tea is calming me for the afternoon and evening.
Caffeine consumed – 3 cups of my new holiday blend which I will log soon (it’s my 12 Days of Christmas tea), and a Coke Zero.
I may have problems.
I got this tea after a fellow customer at Voila told me how awesome it was. “You just want to rub it all over your body,” she said. At first I thought, OK, weirdo, but then I brewed it up myself and I see what she means!
This is in-your-face mango and citrus bliss. I ate some of the mango pieces before brewing – OK, now I’m the weirdo. Dry, this tea smells like sunshine. Steeped, this will knock your freakin’ socks off.
I would rub this over my body, take a bath in it, name my first born after it. It is so yummy – citrusy, mango-y, smooth, sweet and utterly satisfying. If you want a mango tea, you really don’t – you want this tisane. If you want an afternoon tea, you really want this. Trust me, it’s phenomenal. Delish. Worth going to work to enjoy (I left my tin there). So, so, so yummy!
I finished the cuppa before I finished this posting. Seriously.
Preparation
mango… ugh looks like their internet site is down for maintenance. I would order this in a heartbeat to try. I am the queen of mangos.
If you want a sample, PM me. I can send you some. I plan going back there for more very soon so I don’t mind sharing! :)
Mango N Friends is one of those teas that multiple vendors seem to carry, so I’d suggest just looking up the name on here. I think Azzrian sent me some from… the English Tea store? I’m positive it’s the same tea…
Great tea of the afternoon!
Please see other notes; this is a fave!
Had to get that Indian Summer taste away from my senses. This one was perfect! Love the honeyed almond, the cherry and playfulness of this one.
I am just unable to escape migraines this week. I’ve accepted it, begrudgingly. So now I am enjoying lighter green teas that aren’t too harsh on my stomach. This is a perfect fit for me today. The light blend of green tea and mate is playful and delicious. I really enjoy the smell and taste – like grape, passion fruit, cherry, honeyed almond and blissful innocence. It’s one of those rare teas that smells and tastes virtually the same!
A quick note: I accidentally steeped this for longer than I usually would steep a green tea, but it’s a tough tea – no harm done. Still tasted smooth and delish!
Preparation
love the name of this one. not too sure about the ingredients but I do like most of them on their own, sounds like an interesting tea.
hope you feel better!
Sorry about your migraines. If you have some puerh’s they might help both the stomach (which is where my migraines bother me most) and the migraine itself with caffeine delivery which is also good for you (per my neurologists).
@Bonnie: thanks – I can’t choke down the puerhs yet! I’ve heard good things about the tea as well, but my tastebuds aren’t having it. Yet. @Cup of Tree – thank you! It’s an interesting blend. Even though it lists mate, I swear it’s just a small amount total. This really seems more like a green tea to me, rather than a blend.
Made me laugh..I thought you’d have tried something like the breakfast blend where you can’t really taste the puerh. Oh well. Hope you are better soon. The weather has been kicking up my migraines a bit lately too.
