Teavana

I tasted a combination of MateVana AND Rooibos Chai at Teavana today; it was bright and aromatic, and I had to try it as an iced tea. It’s fabulous, and has a complex yet creamy flavour.

Really the perfect tea when you are looking for a subtle and light tasting drink. Good for reflecting and relaxing.

This is one of my favorite Oolong teas when I want a lighter Oolong. I enjoy the light taste, and always feel refreshed after a cup.

I’m going to miss this so much. It’s one of my favourites. Sweet, delicate, a dessert in a cup.

One of my all time favourites! This tea and the almond biscotti from Teavana are my two pick-me-up teas. A fresh and floral scent with such a complex taste that it’s hard to describe other than “Yum!” I’d strongly suggest this tea for anyone who likes a little class in their life, it always puts me in a blissful kind of state, like I’m at a fancy tea-party just in my own home.

This tea is one that I share with everyone that I know who drinks tea. I think my Tante put it best: “Just having it brewing in the house makes me happy.”

Hit the spot this morning. For some reason it tasted really good today. Must have been the mix of the leaves.

After all the Christmas sweets, I really wanted something tart but strong enough to give me a good buzz. Thank you lemon mate.

When I woke up this morning and realized I was out of melitta filters I figured it was a sign for this to be a tea day. Digging through my stash I looked for something I hadn’t drank in a while. I really like this tea, though I prefer it iced with a splash of cranberry juice. The snow outside is making me want hot beverages though. ;)

1.5 tsp. water 208F steep for 5 minutes. I like to let it cool to room temp and then refrigerate as an iced tea.

Wonderfully fruity. Mild and sweet. I also resteeped it since the brew time was so short.

170F 1 minute steep.

I hate this, and most teavana blends =(

This is usually my go-to tea when I’m feeling under the weather. Stomach ache, sore throat, sinus congestion? This may not cure it, but it just makes me feel good!

Delicious hot, but I mainly use it for iced tea, and it’s lovely and sweet without being too overbearing.

Tastes like chocolate without the chocolate. One of my favorites.

I like this tea, but it’s a bit expensive, and there are other teas I’ve enjoyed just as much or more for less than half the cost. I probably would not buy this again. Very aromatic, though.

This is an excellent, smooth tea. I love to drink iced or even blended with other teas. I have found that mixing it with Six Summits Oolong (teavana) gives it a nice earthy tone. Sadly as much as I would like to re-steep this tea, it goes stale after about 2 steeps. I steep this tea about 175-180 for about 1:45 seconds and it produces a nice strong flavor without the bitterness
